Reviewed By niamhhuStayed last night on way back to Luxembourg from Côte d’Azur. What a disappointment. It is a motel not a hotel as advertised. The rooms are entered from the car park and not inside the main building. Put room was tiny and dirty!!!! The towels were so thin they were almost transparent. Dinner was a joke!!! My veal was so tough I could have knocked my husband out with it and my accompanying vegetables were obviously reheated. My husband was asked how he would like his steak and he said medium but it came back as brown inside as old shoe leather. The only redeeming aspect was the very good bottle of Morgon which helped us survive the evening. This is the first time we have been so disappointed with our accommodation in all our journeys to and from the south of France. Normally we have been greatly impressed with our accommodation and dining experiences. Unfortunately this time we landed in a dud. A truly horrible experience.

Reviewed By Ken_D882We stopped here for an overnight whilst travelling from Switzerland to Aquitaine. We had a very friendly reception and a comfortable room. In fact the friendly and helpful approach from Danièle continued throughout our brief stay. She was engaging and charming in a sincere way, with excellent spoken English. Food was very good indeed, accompanied by local (Beaujolais) wines. The whole experience was very enjoyable and I would strongly recommend this hotel.

This was so bad its funny !
Reviewed By jbinns58My room was accessed by a dirty and rusting external staircase which took me to an external walkway overlooking a dismal car park. My room and many others have a large window which faces on to the external walkway. There are only transparent net curtains to cover the window so you sleep in full view of anyone who passes!!! I am not shy but this really was quite amazing. To add to the disomfort the room smelt as though someone had been boiling cabbage in it and was filled with stickers explaining you would be fined if you damaged anything . Very charming......not !

Very nice B&B near to the auto route
Reviewed By bethraijBeautiful rooms, nice showers and bed. Valerie our host made us very welcome and comfortable at her place. Nice designed breakfast room and good breakfast with fresh fruit. Car can be parked at the back and secured by a closed gate. Good place to stay the night when you are travelling between the Netherlands and the Mediterranean.

Reviewed By AzerthRoute ultra passante l equivalent d une autoroute. Impossible d envisager un repas à l exterieur. Secteur le plus moche de normandie. Intérieur tout est commun salle de bain, wc il faut aimer la vie en communauté. Le bruit est commun tout est mal insonorisé. Le pire reste la fenêtre d une chambre qui donne sur la salle de bain commune drôle d idee de la vie en communauté.

Très bon accueil mais hotel un peu "vieillot "
Reviewed By Yannick VUne chose est à souligner quand même : Le personnel de cet hôtel est très chaleureux et nous avons pu le constater tout au long de notre séjour. Néanmoins, pour le reste, il y a quand même beaucoup à dire. Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes et beaucoup de petits détails pourraient être résolus pour améliorer les chambres : Support papier toilettes mal fixé, cuvette très usagée, il y a plein de petits détails qui, avec un peu de bonne volonté, donneraient une impression plus qualitative des chambres. C'est dommage. Je ne vais pas énumérer la liste mais y a de la matière. Notamment l'eau qu'il faut laisser couler 5 bonnes minutes avant d'avoir de l'eau chaude. Les chambres en étage n'ont pas de volet, un simple rideau et comme elles sont situées côté rue, il n'est pas possible de dormir fenêtre ouverte. Aussi, point vraiment négatif : Le petit déjeuner à 10€ qui comprend : 1 boisson chaude, 1 jus d'orange de base, 1 croissant peu qualitatif et un petit morceau de pain accompagnés de beurre et confiture donnés un peu au compte goutte. Nous étions plusieurs nous avons dû aller en redemander. A ce prix, pas de yaourt, pas de fruit, c'est un peu juste et cher en rapport qualité prix. En plus il n'y a pas de salle dédiée au petit déjeuner, on est installé au beau milieu du bar parmi les clients habituels locaux. En résumé, pour y séjourner une nuit lors d'un passage à Belleville en Beaujolais, cet établissement peut convenir mais pour y séjourner plusieurs nuits, la qualité de la prestation est à améliorer.
