Delta Lodge

In the late 1940's, the Rhineharts built cabins on Lake Everett in Northern Wisconsin, 40 miles south of Lake Superior. While times have changed, cabins have been updated, people come here for many of the same reasons they came here in the 1950's and 1960's...to connect with nature and to connect with each other in a beautiful setting. There are 13 cabins - 10 of the cabins are lakeside. All cabins have a kitchen, living room, bedrooms and a screened porch. A boat comes with the cabin rental. There are campfire pits throughout the grounds - we provide the firewood. Build a campfire, listen to the loons and gaze at the stars while the water makes a "lap, lap, lap" sound along the shore. The children of yesteryear continue to introduce their children and grandchildren to Delta Lodge. We welcome you to join us!

Wonderful vacation at Delta Lodge

Reviewed By TammyandDogs

Wanted to visit the Ashland area and stay in a cabin at a resort verses a hotel and found a slice of heaven at the Delta Lodge with Marilyn and her crew. Super nice cabins with everything you need for a comfortable stay for a week in the north woods. The lake is crystal clear and you have another lake just across the road. Loved the gas fire place for ease of heating when our overnight lows were in the thirties, yet cabins have lots of windows and a screened in porch for breezes during the day. Lots of hot water for the shower and great pressure, which is not always the case in the north woods! Beds were also more comfortable than I have experienced in a while. Marilyn perfectly balanced the “there if we needed her, invisible if we did not” that you want from your host when on vacation. Centrally located for us to head to Iron River, Delta, and Ashland for activities and meals, and Bayfield for a day trip. And did I mention the DOGS were welcome TOO? I don’t vacation without my golden retrievers, and they had a blast! GREAT lake for them to swim in, trails easily accessible for walks, in addition to the lodge grounds and quiet road the the property is on. Met other guests that were also just smitten with Delta Lodge. We plan to return next spring and highly recommend it to you! P.S. photo is of Lake Superior swim, but just add loads of trees and you’ll have the dogs swimming at Delta Lodge!

Clean and Quiet

This is one of the best we have stayed at from our trip from Oregon. Check in was a breeze and the owners Dad let us pick our site. Sites are wooded and shady. Very clean bathroom and the sites too. Comfortable and quiet, which is hard to find. We would stay here again.

Wonderful food, slow service

Reviewed By DM1942

We were the only people in the place, so having to wait an hour for our entrees (steaks) was annoying -- perhaps the chef was late getting to work? There's usually a reason. However, the quality and preparation of the food was excellent, and we have no complaints on that score. The waiter, Cody, was personable and attentive but offered no explanation for the lack of timeliness. He may have been new. Yes, the prices are a bit high, but one should expect that in this kind of establishment. We would go back if we were in this area -- as it was, we were on vacation and "just passing through."

What a great week!

Reviewed By debraj560

We had an incredibly restful and restorative week staying in the Blue Gill cabin at Tall Timbers Resort. Barb and Jan were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The cabin was well equipped, had comfy beds, and - best of all - had a fantastic screened in porch/sun room over looking the channel. We could not have asked for better weather, so we feel extra fortunate with that bit of luck. This is a place we will definitely return to. Thanks to our super hostesses for a lovely week!

Numerous visits

We just returned from another visit to the area. We stayed at Tri Lake Timbers resort. This is our fourth time staying here. We come here to ATV. The cabins are nice and clean and the staff all very nice. The only issue that I have is the price. The prices were raised this spring, and I thought it was already expensive.

I was thrilled to be able to stay at Pine Point Lodge in Iron River Wi. Jack, the owner, is absolutely a most gracious host who was always interested in providing a wonderful stay. My cabin was close to the Lake and I could view the sunrise or sunset. There was a TV & 2 bedrooms which were very comfortable! There is a stove & refrigerator to cook your own meals inside as well as a grill outside. Thank you, Jack, for a wonderful stay! JenniferAnderson

Great place to stay in Northern Wisconsin!

Reviewed By jadew335

Our family comes here every year and we absolutely love it. Cute and clean cabins, beautiful lake, nice beach. You can fish right off the dock or use the fishing boat that comes with the cabin. Lots of bluegills and crappie for the kids to catch, northern and bass in there too. There’s a paddle boat, a couple kayaks, and a couple canoes to use, as well as tons of beach toys. Great location for day trips to the North Shore, Hayward, Madeline Island etc. Close by is the Delta Diner, which is always delicious, and a little ice cream shack. We always look forward to coming up to Deer Trail Lodge!
