This place is great! Our server Athena was the best waitress we have ever had! Truly amazing. Our friend has restrictions on what they can eat, and Athena walked her through everything to make certain she knew what she could have. The food was delicious! Athena told us to try "Kevin's crepes" Yummy! This is our go to from now on for our get togethers!

Avoid: Stink Literally: Extremely Disappointing and Very Expensive

First, know that this is roughly 5 miles from downtown New Hope and isn't walkable / adjacent to anything. As a previous comment indicated, the reception is a sign on a door with a phone number to "x," who directed me to the "Bo Peep Cottage." This wasn't the specified reservation but I guess complied with the "suite" request. The cottage is a large room with a bed, dining table, microwave, mini-fridge, bathroom, all of which were rather aged and somewhat dilapidated, but fine. Plenty of space. The dealbreakers: The cottage is next to the farm house for the goats, which in addition to being loud produce a lot of smell, as farm animals do. The A/C unit for the building was tiny and couldn't possibly cool the room. The "flatscreen" TV was approximately 8" and housed in a cabinet. Mildew, musk, and animal smells were inescapable. There were stinkbugs in the bathroom and bee hives outside. Typical of a true farmhouse, but not what was expected, especially for the price. We couldn't stay and left after less than an hour total. Wrote the management about a refund but haven't heard back yet. Will update if there is a response.

There were needles and bloody washcloths in the drawers. We tried to tell the front desk but the guy didn't speak English well. Very disappointing experience. There wasn't even a coffee maker for us to use.

Pineapple Hill Inn Bed & Breakfast

Enjoy the charm of a beautifully restored colonial manor house built in 1790. Set on almost 6 acres, this Bucks County bed-and-breakfast rests between New Hope's center and Washington Crossing Park and also within minutes to Peddlers Village. The History: In the 1700s it was customary to place a pineapple on your front porch as a way of letting friends and neighbors know you were welcoming guests - we hope you'll always feel welcome at Pineapple Hill. The Inn: The eighteen-inch walls and original wide plank pumpkin-pine flooring at Pineapple Hill exemplify a craftsmanship long forgotten. On the grounds, the walls of a stone barn enclose a beautifully hand-tiled pool. throughout the property, are many of the original stone ruins, now enhanced by lovely perennial gardens. The ruins of the original summer kitchen surround an outdoor sitting area. A gourmet breakfast is served daily in our sun filled dining room with fireplace. Your breakfast can also be enjoyed on our outdoor verandah. Each morning a different hot entree is prepared, maybe French Toast, quiche, or another treat, whatever dish the day brings it will be made each morning with fresh local ingredients and served at individual tables. Special dietary needs are always accommodated. During the day, assorted iced beverages are provided with a homemade taste sensation. Our living room with fireplace offers yet another wonderful place to relax.
