Vi var några vänner som i början av augusti gjorde en resa mellan Västervik och Tuna fram och tillbaka. Vi åt en enklare lunch från ett café som låg i några godsfinkor i Tuna. Resan var en mycket trevlig naturupplevelse. Många vackra sjöar och stationer passerades.

Here you can go jogging along the sea and the track must be one of the most picturesque ones in the world. Or bring a pic-nique and experience the beautiful surroundings. Or you can go swimming (in the summertime of course) - there are several nice places to choose from. At least go on a bicycle or ride a car from one end of the reserv to the other, to experience the beautiful cultural landscape. You will be struck by an urge to come back!

We wandered around the old houses and found this lovely church.... there were young men practicing singing and the acoustics were amazing.... what a gem!

Vastervik City park is located just outside the historic center. There are a lot of activities and attractions in the park, including a newly built playground and training park. Among the park there are also a number of art works.

Meget centralt i Vastervik finder man i det smukke rådhus Vastervik Tourist center. Har åben på hverdage og åbningstiden varierer efter årstiden , i højsæson er der også åbent lørdag og søndage, bemærk at de har lunch stengt.
Alle typerinfo, vi fik bykort, brochurer og info om hvad vi burde se i Vastervik, venlig og smilende service. Her sælges også p-billetter og øvrige arangementer.
En god oplevelse og en god start på besøg i Vastervik, kan anbefales at starte her.

Mycket god mat, flera alternativ till lunch. Bra med parkering. Väldigt smidigt med buffé. Stort plus är att det är handikappsvänligt.
