We stayed in Qala, Gozo for a week and visited this wonderful farm several times. We loved the way many different animals ran freely on the ground and our children enjoyed helping feeding the animals. My daughter at 13 and I went for an hour riding for beginners. Joe who took us riding is very friendly and informative and we felt taking good care of. We also booked an afternoon event where we went to milk the goats and made fresh goatcheese. Afterwards we had a fantastic dinner homemade by Bella - Joes wife. Tapas plate as starter and Rabbit in different way. wonderful local wine. What an evening sitting outside in the dark with the lights on chatting about everyday life with Joe and Bella.

We booked this trip through the TUI rep at our hotel,we were picked up by mini bus then went on board the ferry as foot passengers then met on Gozo by the Gozo pride team who are easy to spot .
We were then introduced to our driver for the day ,we didn’t catch his name but he was from Gozo and had a gold earring!
We were lucky there was only the 3 of us plus another couple in our jeep but they can squeeze 7 people in,the couple were elderly she sat in the front passenger seat but the gentleman managed to climb in and out of the back no problem.
As our driver knew the island and everyone on it by the amount of greetings he got he often took us a different route to show us little things ie amazing views,he was so friendly,and helpful.
We saw so much of the island that you just couldn’t see sat on a coach the boat trip from the inland sea to were the azure window used to be was amazing and the speedboat back through the blue lagoon was thrilling.
Lunch with wine was included this was basic but very good.
We had an exciting day visiting lots of places with a friendly informative local who was very very proud of his island,well worth the money as we couldn’t have seen half as much going solo.

In my view, reaching one’s potential requires trying as many diverse activities as possible since their varied focuses boost one’s stress management and problem-solving skills.
Having never dived and having always wanted to experience it, I have chosen Blue Waters Dive Cove because they are the recommended diving partner of Kempinski Hotel San Lawrence, Gozo and because I fully trust Kempinski’s judgment and standards. When signing up, I was unsure what package of Blue Waters Dive Cove to choose – a 10-dive package or some PADI certification. As diving is a rather complex activity with huge risks for one’s health if done wrongly, I signed up for the medium-level PADI certification, PADI Open Water Diver track which includes both a theoretical part and 6 supervised dives with an instructor ensuring that the theoretically learnt skills become your habits.
When signing up for PADI Open Water Diver track, I highly recommend taking the theoretical part online from your home – while in Gozo you should aim for the sun and sea and not textbooks ☺. The depth of the theoretical part did surprise me – it takes a few days just to watch the videos and take all the quizzes – and in terms of contents, I would compare it to a CFA exam for diving!
As a few days ago certified PADI Open Water Diver, I highly recommend Blue Waters Dive Cove – they operate with so much passion and love: Franco Bugeja was exceptionally receptive to all my questions and always changing requests, has organized all the hotel pickups, the right gear for me and other small things, and Andrea Ruffinengo, my instructor, exhibited extraordinary patience and insight from his decades of global diving adventures. I could not have chosen better. They know all the diving spots of Gozo (by some standards the best diving place in Europe), by heart and plan the dives taking into account the weather (such as the wind) to meet the most memorable sea creatures.
I will certainly return to Gozo and will be honored to dive with Blue Waters Dive Cove again.

Today we booked a trip with joyride from Hodoq/ Gozo to Comino (including the coves). We had the best ride of our lifes accompanied by the owners dogs and a driver, who made the trip so enjoyable.
Everything was perfect. We startet at 11am a Hondoq harbour with a small speedboat we dreamed off. The staff and the owner have been extremely friendly and their dogs, who jumped on board with us brought a big smile on everybodys face. By visiting the coves the boats drive directly into the coves. Much more than the bigger boats that surrounded us. For the trip back the driver picked us up in time with 5 other people on board. He drove full speed with many extra curves as we were on a fun drive. Everybody was laughing and smiling back in the harbour. If you're planing a trip to Comino definitly book it here with Joyride in Hondoq.

Shame you are not able to access the windmill to get a better picture. Nice sight on the horizon but not able to get close.
