One of my favorite restaurants. It is a quaint restaurant nestled in Mgarr Harbour. In fact, many visitors to Gozo get off the ferry from Malta and the restaurant is their first stop to get some dinner. I’ve eaten there probably about eight times, several of which I’ve brought my family, so I’ve sampled much off the food and all of it has been delicious. I recommend being seated outside because the view of the Harbour is spectacular. If you decide to go, you must make a reservation, as it is a popular restaurant - not just with tourists, but with the Maltese, as well. Parking can be a little tricky so give yourself an extra 15 minutes. I promise it will not disappoint. They have a sister restaurant in Rabat, Gozo called The Patrick. It also serves exceptional food, but is a more romantic choice.

Visited last Saturday with my family. We enjoyed our evening in a warm atmosphere with, as usual, outstanding cuisine. Patrick's is one of our favorite restaurants to visit, always offering a nice ambiance, great service and a top class wine range. If you're planning on going on a Saturday evening, I suggest booking in advance to have indoor Seating. We booked late and were seated in the outdoor garden area which had a canopy and was heated. This area is a designated smoking area for diners, however our dinner was still enjoyable and we almost preferred the quiet and private Seating. Our choice of dishes for starters were Risotto, Fried Brie pillow, Salt and Pepper Squid and Chicken liver parfait. For main courses we chose Duck Breast which was fantastic, tasty and very tender, Fillet of beef and Tomahawk for two. For dessert we had the lemon tart, creme brule, apple tart and the special of the day, the bread and butter pudding. Well done Patrick as always! To enjoy a real steakhouse, don't miss out on this restaurant. They know how to get top quality meat cuts and know the secrets of cooking them to perfection!

We hadn't booked and weren't even allowed a look at the Terrace. I had barracuda, my partner had saddle bream. Both very tasty, but too many bones for filleted fish. Roasted small potatoes were good, as were carrots, but cauliflower was overcooked. The americano was scalding hot and tasted like instant. All reasonably priced.

We spent wonderful four days in Xaghra and Oleander was our favorite restaurant. It had a good menu offering daily specials featuring local fare to delight any foodie. Outdoor dining at night in this beautiful plaza was unforgettable. Don't forget to visit the Cathedral, the inside is not to be missed.

A very special place, you can order a ftira or a pizza and come back 20 minutes later to have for a freshly baked one.
Two nice local bakeries serve you with a smile.

Plenty of food, prices low, plenty of rudeness. Long waiting time, canned veggies on the plates especially pizzas, rude manager and server. Comparable to no other restaurant ever visited! Avoid next door restaurant, taken over by Ta' Vestru too. Family business. This is a problem venue. We cannot understand how the Malta Tourism Authorities and Malta health authorities permit this venue to run a food business. The restaurant smells like exhaust. Cars in the square parked across the restaurant fill the air with exhaust. Kitchen on the roof top floor. Not a restaurant-looking kitchen. Cherry on the cake was the bill. Requested to pay for something we did not order and have. Shouted at by the manager. No manners, no service-oriented outlet. This is a money trap for tourists Maltese and foreigners. Spoilt our evening. Ta Vestru not recommended.

D-BAR is a family run Restaurant, Pizzeria and Bar, brimming with charm and tradition. Set over two floors, the upper level provides a relaxing and traditional experience; here you will find yourself gazing upon a beautiful collection of vintage portraits of Qala. Downstairs, we have the bar and a further dining area, providing a more vibrant atmosphere, where we often feature international sports on Television and offer a range of local wines and lagers. During the summer months we have a stunning Terrace area on the upper level, (Great for parties and groups) and outdoor Seating on the lower level where you can dine al fresco and take in the lovely surroundings of the Qala square.

First time here and it was very very good.
Staff were friendly and the food was great. Well presented and in particular the following were perfect.
The squid main course was so tasty and the freshness of the squid it self was excellent. Not chewy or rubbery,which can be the case sometimes.
The rack of ribs is one of there signature dishes and it did live up to its reputation.
Gluten free pasta for one of our party was great although one does need one to very specific as to how al dente you like it. So make sure you say how you like it and they will prepare it accordingly.
Definitely coming again.

This is my absolute favourite restaurant in Gozo. Impeccable service, amazing food, great location and atmosphere.. what more can you ask for?? If you are lucky to visit when the weather is good enough, the view outside is unparalleled. If not, the restaurant inside is cosy and gorgeous just the same.

Our first dining experience in this restaurant and we had lovely time with great atmosphere. We've ordered fresh local fish complimented with chilled wine and everything was as we expected. Gozo island is amazing and there is just something about this pub. It's obviously visited by the locals of all ages. It's tiny, so most guest were sitting outside, stretching all the way across the street. The atmosphere was happy and relaxed. Cheap beers and drinks. I hope I can visit again. This was a wonderful night.
