Location: The hotel is in a good location about a 10 min walk away from Luxembourg city. Also has a parking garage, so you can park your car and leave it without any issues. On the way to the city, you can enjoy many good views. Also the hotel is next to some descent restaurants and public transportation. However, like I said, to get to Luxembourg city, its just a 10 min walk. Also the hotel is in a pretty safe location. Didn't have any issues walking to and from the city at night. Service: Hotel staff were helpful and kind. They made sure I was comfortable and kept the hotel nice and clean. Cleanliness: Hotel looks good. The interior and exterior look modern and new. Lobby was nice. Sleep Quality: Bed is comfortable. Could easily fall asleep. Also area is quiet at night so no need to worry about loud noises. Rooms: Rooms are nice. I had the superior guest room. Has all the necessary amenities (private bathroom, bed, TV, internet) and looks nice. Modern furniture, fixtures and decorations. Value: This is a brand name hotel. So price may be a little high but you get what you payed for. Most important thing for me is ease of mind when traveling. No need to worry about parking; getting to and from attractions safely; having a good place to sleep; and having good breakfast to eat. On top of that, the place has a bar that is also very nice too. Overall: A great hotel to stay at if you are visiting Luxembourg. With its location and excellent rooms, you will get what you paid for. 5/5

Reviewed By fatima_alaradiI was provided a suite, the nice thing is that the people who stayed in suites have there own elevator, the room was good in size and the furniture was good but I think it needs to be renovated, the hotel is 5 mins walk to the center, the breakfast was extremely excellent all chooses are available, the staff were helpful. I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay in a little far distance from the center to avoid the busy noise in the center

Excellent Hotel

The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable and in a great location about 15 minutes walk from the railway station. Bus stops are also nearby and it is only a 10 minute walk to the city centre and Old Town where there are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. Our room was on the 5th floor and was comfortable and very clean. The room was quite and sleeping was no problem. There was a flat screen television in the room with a variety of all channels. We had a free mini bar stocked with water, soft drinks and beer. Breakfast was good with a wide choice to suit everyone. A very enjoyable stay.

Had just emerged from the shower when one of the hotel staff entered the room with his staff key. Reported incident to front desk, seemed quite unconcerned. Also saw the staff arguing loudly in the breakfast room. Not very professional. Maid service was low quality.

I had mentioned that we were celebrating our 40th anniversary and 60th birthdays in an email prior to our visit. Upon check- in, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite. A few minutes after getting to the room, two young ladies came in with a bottle of wine, macaroons, a candle, a card for 2 free drinks and a signed birthday card from the staff. We were totally impressed. Then, we ate at the hotel restaurant, Le Pless, and we had the best table in the restaurant. They offered slippers and robes in the room. We chose to have breakfast brought to the room and it was wonderful. When checking out, I asked if I could purchase an additional candle and it was given to me. My husband and I both highly recommend this hotel!

Reviewed By Tom2592The Cravat is perfectly located, immaculately clean, incorporates many old world conveniences, has a super professional staff and serves a good breakfast. Given that there is no air-conditioning, windows need to be open and with that comes lots of street noise. My bed was super soft and offered no back support. The bathroom appeared brand new, but with the shower head on the long wall and the curtain running down the middle of the tub, taking a shower required contortions. The hotel's decor appears to have been preserved from its opening in 1953. Others have referred to it as old-fashioned. I call it ready for retirement. Net Net: with some capital investment and the services of a designer, the Cravat could be 5 bubbles superb.

Pleasant stay and nice hotel, but room and deco needs updating
Reviewed By haotianw99ur family stayed at this hotel during a short trip visiting Luxembourg. We booked two rooms and hotel kindly offered connecting rooms, which was really convenient. We used the swimming pool (be aware, the swimming pool opening hours varies during the week), the lifeguard on duty was really nice. He even offered some swimming tips for my son and daughter. We also used the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The dinner meet my expectations as it is a double tree hotel. The breakfast was all right too. The overall experience was pleasant. The staff were friendly. However, the hotel as a whole (rooms and deco) needs updating.

Reviewed By travelfordWonderful location across from train station and tram.. all tram and buses free in Luxembourg! Three stops to old town! Could be tad noisy but windows are well insulated. Front desk nice but not concierge to tell you what is good to do.. lots a brochures! The breakfast is full meal with made to order eggs! Only hotel ever to have loose tea … for hot tea in the morning!! This was Grand!! Rooms were small but comfortable& clean’
