A great spot just steps from the beach

Our room had a king-sized bed, a beach view, balcony and kitchenette. We were in the modern unit and our room suited us perfectly for a multi-night stay. There is also a motel on site as well as several cabins. This hotel is truly dog friendly and there are no dog fees. A pebble beach is right across the street and there is a sandy beach a few steps away. This was a great off-season getaway. We loved the area.

Budget Beachside

We stayed in a two room suite on the third floor. The staff at the desk was super friendly, nice, and helpful. The motel is definitely dated. The carpeting was dirty. The room had a musty smell. The coffee pot had old coffee and floating mold in it. I felt a little unsafe on our balcony but holy cow the view of the ocean (barring the power lines) is great. And you are literally a few steps across the road from the ocean. So if you can get past the iffy accomodations, the location is everything.

Fabulous staycation!!! ??

Decided to book 5 nights at the YBSC in lieu of staying with family nearby, and was so impressed! Having opened just days before, the staff was friendly, upbeat, responsive, and eager to help iron out whatever glitches came along. Despite the ongoing construction and last minute landscaping, the property was very welcoming to new guests and everyone I encountered was smiling ? SO much attention to detail and a spot on “surf-y” esthetic ~ a refreshing digression from cookie cutter corporate hotels and resorts! !! Added bonus for being kid, handicapped, and dog friendly ~ basically I would ? percent recommend this fun and funky, retro yet modern oasis on the beach!! Add a few antique cars, an oyster truck, an airstream bar, corn hole games, and a welcoming lawn filled with nostalgic striped canvas beach chairs, and you have yourself a recipe for the perfect beach hotel! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ GREAT ENERGY!!! well done, many kudos, hope your summer is wicked successful!!?
