Old, well-located hotel
Reviewed By 773valkWe were worried when we pulled in. We saw moss on the roof. Evidence of room remodeling, but when we opened the door to our 3rd floor room, we saw wood floors, new beds, dresser chairs and a generous bathroom. Plus a nice balcony overlooking the river and a well-maintained garden. The current owners appear to be working hard to update the hotel. I wish them well.

Clean and Comfortable
Reviewed By Lyle AOur room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. My only negative experience was not being able to connect my laptop to the internet. The front desk clerk tried to help, called the manager for help, but to no avail. Otherwise, a nice stay.

Reviewed By nchaud997632Room has really bad odor. Windows were wide open. Mold in bathroom and window seals. Mattress has very strong urine smell. There is no pool and no breakfast. These place doesn't deserve 1 star, not sure how it's rated 2.5.

Decent Room, Good Location - But....
Reviewed By julaPDXWe were reluctantly in Roseburg for a wedding and booked a room here. We didn't reserve ahead of time. Disappointed there was no AAA discount. Front desk young woman did not seem to have much customer service skills. She put a mask on when we walked in, but each time we came in and out of the motel (about 3 times we left over the course of probably 3 hours), she was not wearing a mask and had two friends without masks sitting in the lobby across from the front desk. They were loud, saying the F word, talking about UTIs, and grandparents suspected to be swingers. My husband and I are far from prude, but c'mon, this is a place of business and some professionalism is required! The room had no microwave or fridge which seemed odd in the 21st century and paying $141 for one night. And there were no toiletries except soap. It's a good location in such a crappy town, but if you can make sure you have decent front desk staff (which you can't) then you could try staying here.

Reviewed By raynr2022Avoid this place is what comes to mind & NEVER AGAIN! Nasty staff, smelly room, no breakfast, no view of anything but a paved road. The staff were Debbie Downers and Sullen Dudes with little or no guest service skills. No kidding. Never again.

Love stained sofa
Reviewed By dustin92922022The beds had sand and dirt on the sheets, the couch was clearly coated in human baby making fluids, there was no shower curtain, the floors were dingy as the dust bowl, and the lock on the door was cracked where it was mounted. Would suggest finding a truck stop near by to sleep on the floor of the bathroom there, as it would likely be more sanitary.

Flies in the room - rusty shower
Reviewed By Jason WThe room was dirty, It was the worst place we ever stayed. The room was too hot and couldnt stay cool. The bedding was suspect - used our own. Flies (small gnats) were in the room constantly and the shower was dirty and bathroom needed a paint job.
