Reviewed By MT113Nice staff. Nice location. Nice views. Nice locality. Breakfast okay. Tired building. Small room with no view and very little furniture. No ambience or style. Outdated bathroom. Spar limited and understaffed. Serious maintenance and refurbishment required. Very disappointing. Will not visit again.

Superb boutique hotel
Reviewed By furbeeFranceIt did take us sometime to find the hotel as there were so many no entry signs. We ere not aware we could ignore them as we were staying at the hotel. The receptionist was friendly and charming, we had booked parking which was great 10 euros a night either in garage or outside, lift from garage to all floors. We were given an upgrade and our room was extremely spacious with a huge comfortable bed. Decor very simple and stylish. Lovely bathroom and roomy shower. Large fluffy bath towels.An extremely well thought out layout. Breakfast was a little disappointing, coffee lukewarm. Would certainly love to stay there again.

It also offers dinners using home-grown organic produce, subject to prior arrangement.Apart from enjoying the on-site animals children have a play area on the grounds. There is also a barbecue area. Landarte is a quiet Bed&Breakfast on a privileged spot along the Basque Coast. From here splendid walks can be made in different directions, often with breathtaking views. Santiago beach is a seven minute walk, the famous rocks (“Flysch”) of Itzurun beach lies on the other side of town at 15 min. The train and bus station are also not far away. Located on the edge of the town of Zumaia, Landarte is just 32 km from San Sebastián, 50 km from France, 72 km from Bilbao and 80 km. from Vitoria-Gasteiz. Landarte has 6 double rooms, each with a private bathroom and central heating. Three rooms accept an extra bed. All rooms are different in style and tastefully decorated; both floors have reading areas and a refrigerator. In the morning we serve a complete breakfast with homemade bread, fresh orange juice, lots of fruit, eggs to your liking, cereals, yoghurt, etc. With our lovely garden with different benches and views, we offer you all the aspects for a lovely stay of rest and tranquility.

Both rooms we stayed in were uniquely decorated in a style that was elegant and interesting. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We particularly enjoyed Mark's dry sense of humor. Landarte is an easy walk (maybe 1 km) from town and is a good way to walk off too much food (and wine) after dinner in Zumaia. Well positioned site

Excellent loos and showers, good restaurant although not open in the evening in November and December, bread available at reception and staff helpful especially reception. Site is on top of a hill and the approach not great through an industrial estate but don’t be put off. Site tiered but pitches are easily accessed . Would recommend a stay

Reviewed By joseantoniop452Hemos estado 3 noches en los estupendos apartamentos de Endañeta Berri, con una nieta de 3 años, y hemos disfrutado de lo "lindo". Los apartamentos tienen todas las comodidades y "modernidades" actuales (Wi-Fi, persianas eléctricas, ascensor, frío-calor, etc). El entorno es agro-ganadero al 100%, con sus vacas, gallinas, gatos, perros, etc que la nieta ha disfrutado al máximo, sobre todo en el pequeño parque infantil y con la enorme cantidad de juguetes disponibles. Súper bonito y tranquilo (te acostumbras al mugido constante de las vacas). Una experiencia estupenda que debemos agradecer a los propietarios, por su gran acierto con el establecimiento y su atención permanente. Muy recomendable.

This was an appalling hotel - please avoid
Reviewed By OlwogThe telephone rang every 15 seconds right through the night and when we complained all the manager said was Yes! The wifi wasn't working and after typing in the password several times he blamed our phones. The fact that the local Spanish folks in the bar couldn't re-establish their connection was of no significance. He then charged us the higher rates even though it was low season and wouldn't give my passport back until it was paid. Avoid the hotel.
