Wonderful place to relax and refresh

Overleaf Lodge is our "go to place" on the coast. We have been visiting the Overleaf since it opened. One of the best points to the Overleaf is their No Smoking and No Pets policy - love it. As other have mentioned, the views from each room are the best. We were able to watch whales for hours from our room. What a treat! All of the employees have always been friendly and welcoming. Heather at the front desk is great! She is always friendly and ready with answers to any questions & concerns.

The Deane’s is clean, quiet, has friendly staff, and boasts a picturesque view! What more could you want from a resort? :) I love the recent paint upgrade - the contrast of the sapphire blue & white looks great!

Amazing view and location saved this place

The room was dark, furniture and fixtures old and falling apart, grumpy check-in lady, and the floor left my freshly showered feet black after walking on it. The wifi was non-existent in our room. But the view was stunning. The location is a close walk to town and an even closer walk to amazing trails.

Wanted to thank Yvonne and Ian for the wonderful experience we had during our two-day stay at the Dublin House Motel in Yachats, Oregon. Our time there was relaxing, we enjoyed the local restaurants and walks along the tide pools, rocks. My wife and me are very much looking forward to going back as soon as possible. Don’t be fooled by the Silver Surf Motel

I agree with two previous reviews. The electric fireplace is a joke, I was either hot, or very cold, since the floor is mostly tile it was always cold even with socks on. The bathroom was extra chilly since the fireplace heat didn’t reach that area. I called the office asking about which TV channels had local news and weather since there wasn’t a schedule, no one ever got back to me. I agree with the person in regard to the look of easy access to the beach, it was a rudimentary path that most older people would find hard or impossible to navigate. I didn’t find room 24 to be very clean. It had an odor. I wasn’t told when making my reservations for two nights the pool and hot tub were unavailable. I spent very little time in the room because it was so unpleasant. I was happy to be returning home. I won’t be back.

What a treasure on the Oregon Coast

Reviewed By Ariella35

We spent a week adventuring down the Oregon coast for a birthday celebration in April. Yachats was our final destination. We booked the Fireside Motel at the very last minute to extend our original itinerary by one extra day. We had an Oceanfront King Non Pet Room. The motel itself is very retro charming. They even gave us actual metal keys for our room upon check in. The front desk clerk was very friendly. Masks were required for indoor areas which we appreciated. They do have a movie check out feature as well. We drove right over to our room and there was plenty of out front parking available. We didn't have a pet, but they do allow them in some rooms. The grounds were very peaceful with large trees, birds chirping, frogs humming and the sound of waves crashing in the back round. Our oceanfront room was very clean and had a large comfortable bed. Lots of Heron photography on the walls. A table ,chairs, and nice sofa in front of the large picture window were perfectly placed for ocean viewing. The coffee station was a welcomed touch as well. The bathroom felt a bit outdated, but it's one of those funky Oregon Beach place vibes that we don't mind. If you're looking for more spa luxury check out their next door sister property the Overleaf. The absolutely best part of this room was the oceanfront patio on the ground floor. We had the most magical enchanting sunsets. The 804 trail is right in front and offers a breathtaking amazing stroll along the cliffside with crashing waves and dramatic viewpoints. It is well worth exploring and you have easy access from the Fireside rooms. The Fireside is also pretty close to the small town of Yachats which has a few cute restaurants, some shopping, and a beach for further adventuring. There's also nearby Cape Perpetua, the lighthouse, and other landmarks to visit. We'd stay here again anytime as it was one of our most favorite places of our entire week long beach trip. This is a special place offering the best combination of welcoming hospitality and natural beauty that Oregon has to offer.

Ocean Cove Inn

The Ocean Cove Inn is a charming motel just above Yachats Bay on the central Oregon Coast. It offers cozy rooms for two and plenty of amenities. The location is excellent for exploring Yachats on foot, being just minutes from restaurants, coffee shops, wine bars, stores, picnic areas and the beach!

Stay away, far away.

Stayed in the Drift room. Oh my gosh please don’t stay there. Really. I’m giving you good advice. Damage, stained rugs, rotting window, blinds broken, heater didn’t work, smelled funny. For the money you’re not going to like it either. You’ve been warned.
