Great hotel

Nice hotel, reasonable pricing and great service!!! Definitely one we will go back to. For us a great location from where we could visit various locations nearby Portland. The only thing we didn't like was the simple breakfast and not enough seating.

Exceeded expectations

The only miss during my stay was that the desk clerk was dealing some issue and I had to wait maybe five minutes for her to return and start the check-in. Check-in itself was seamless. I had a room on the ground floor, which turned out to be great. I heard noises from above and also heard no road noise. The room was steps from the pool, fitness room, breakfast room and parking. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items, and dining area was clean. The instant coffee-like substance was passable. The room was comfortable, no light intrusion to speak of, and the internet speed was adequate.

Scary

We stayed in this motel on 4/22/2021. I must say this hotel gets the worse hotel rating of all times for me. It was creepy, dirty and funky. The only good thing I can say is that the check-in was pleasant. As we arrived there was a guy outside the front entrance wearing a yellow jacket. At first I thought he was a construction worker who was staying there for work but latter discovered he was one out of a few that were hanging in the parking lot with their dogs, smoking cigarettes spiting and littering. I think the first floor was occupied by homeless due to the CV. I have no problem with homeless people but I think it's just fair if the hotel notify paying gust so they can decide whether or not they want this kind of an experience. Then there was the room from that felt like it came from the movie the shining. The sheet had stains of what may have been blood. The shower had black hair on the walls. The furniture were old and really funky. The bedside table was rocky and the chair has lost the finish on the fabric. The floors were sticky and every time someone closed the door to their room our door was making a loud noise. I had to shove a towel between the door and the door jam in order to make the noise stop. I wouldn't stay in this Motel6 if it was free. Stay away if you don't want to risk getting sick.

Priced good, some service was missing

As my lead states, some service just MIA !!! We stayed here for the Memorial Day Wknd 2022. On Sunday AM, the breakfast service was present and accounted for but on Monday nothing. I told the folks at the front desk and they were unaware. In fact they didn't even have hot coffee. So we went out for breakfast. When I asked if they could do anything for us, they chuckled and said "this happens on and off, where the people that run breakfast, just fail to show up" ! The price for a room was about average for the area and the room, so if the "implied included breakfast is important to you", then know it'll be a 50/50 if it is served !

What I expected

Reviewed By 446susiea

My son and I drove over 1200 miles with very little sleep so by the time we got to the hotel we just wanted to sleep. Check in was easy and very friendly. The room is very small but we didn't need much since we just needed sleep. The room was clean. The bathroom was actually really nice and it was clean. We had a microwave and refrigerator. Premium channels on TV which again we didn't really watch. The one thing I DID NOT like was the locks on the door. off they would update that I would give them 5 stars.
