Reviewed By jawas75Great hotel and restaurant in the heart of New Brunswick and walking distance to State theater and many restaurants and bars. Christopher's Restaurant inside is also delicious and super convenient. Overall, the service was warm and helpful, and I will stay again.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and cheap
Reviewed By Lynn EIf you are looking for an upscale experience or luxurious stay, this is not the place. If you are simply seeking a nice, quiet place to sleep,then it’s just the ticket. Definitely nothing fancy here. Room and bath are a bit cramped but the bedding was very comfortable.Bathroom could definitely use an upgrade (features an old-fashioned noisy dorm-style toilet). But we just wanted a clean and comfortable sleep and The Rutgers University Inn fit the bill.

After I returned from my training on Monday evening, Mrs. Truglio was there to personally greet me and ensure that my stay was going well. A second thank you to Front Desk Representatives Brandon and Luis, who gave me the VIP treatment when I checked in. Keep the smile on your faces! The Home2Suites Brand never fails at giving you that home feeling. As a Hilton Honors member, I can affirmatively state that my experience at their hotels has always been positive. My recent dealings with Mrs. Truglio and her exemplary representation of the Hilton Brand confirms my overall customer satisfaction, again Thank You. The Home2Suites New Brunswick NJ location is relatively new (opened in 2021) and well kept. The rooms are clean, spacious and cozy with a home feeling. The breakfast area is well organized with the Waffle maker ready to go. The hotel is literally minutes away from Rutgers Public Safety Department, Rutgers University, Downtown New Brunswick NJ and other businesses. This hotel is centrally located and a perfect stay for the business or leisure traveler. Stay well and safe!

Reviewed By Ambka SMy husband and I stayed here for one night and had a great stay. Check-in was smooth, our room was spotless and modern, and the breakfast had a great variety. The thing that really stood out was the fact that housekeeping kindly found two of my forgotten bags and I was able to pick them up from the front desk later. I really appreciated that. Much Better than Expected!
Reviewed By Pray4GaneshThis place is better than expected. If you are ever around the area, this is the go to hotel with the cheapest price. Excellent room cleanliness and front desk staff. I couldn't have been happier with my stay from start to finish. The hotel is split into 2 so make sure to go to the Motel 6 side, not the Red Carpet side. Lots of food and entertainment options nearby, though I would avoid the Asian restaurant next door. I don't think it is part of the hotel.
