Reviewed By Susan lMy husband and I stayed for two nights and hike walking the Camino de Santiago. The hotel setting design and decor are lovely. Our room comfortable. We ate breakfast and dinner on both days. Food was fine but service very slow on our first evening and dinner didn’t start till 8.30.

Maria inherited her father’s winery and produces a modest batch of 30,000 bottles of excellent Albarińo, including a surprisingly good sparkling Albariño, using modern techniques. She leverages her training and heritage to both explore new products and to recover the flavors of her ancestors. Portions of the grape not used in making wine are turned to soap, creams, and they also make a jelly made from Alvariño reduction. María gave us a tour of the facility, showed us the Albariño vines called “parras,” traditionally trained on a wire trellis supported by granite posts to allow breezes to come through and dry the grapes after the region’s frequent showers, and led us through a tasting of two of her excellent wines.

Reviewed By rbisggHa estado todo fenomenal. El sitio es muy tranquilo, con todas las comodidades y muy limpio. La zona deportiva y el gimnasio están estupendos y la sala de juegos también, aunque la gente debería de ser más civilizada porque de un día para otro, las raquetas de ping pong se hicieron polvo y los dardos desaparecieron. Las chicas de recepción muy amables. La comida del restaurante también estuvo bien el día que cenamos y con un servicio adecuado. Lo único más negativo fue la piscina con bastante cloro y no vi en ningún momento que pusieran la depuradora, solo un aspirador de fondo. Pero eso no desmerece que el sitio sea muy recomendable.
