Trying to be positive, we slept well
Reviewed By Travel4Fun31Checked in a bit later and the front door was locked. Was told it's cause 'misunderstood people' tend to come, linger, use the bathroom and not leave.... You have to be buzzed in each time cause they haven't added a card reader to the front door. The lobby smells ok.. The breakfast area and hallways are another story. I couldn't eat in the breakfast area cause the smell made me gag. It was so dirty smelling. The carpet in the hallway needs to be cleaned. The room didn't smell. Not many outlets for charging devices, moved the arm chair to look for a plug, the chair doesn't look like it had been moved in ages. There was garbage an other stuff back there, included what looked like underwear... Asked for extra towels as we had 3 staying in 1 room. They seemed put out to find us 1 set of towels so we could all shower. Walls are thin, could hear the screaming child in the room next to us until 1am. People staying there were slobs in the breakfast area leaving plates, napkins and whatnot all over. There seemed to be a shortness of staff so the breakfast area looked dirty all morning (as we packed the car and went and got breakfast to eat in our rooms). Brochures for events and activities by the conference center were dated 2019 & 2020...

Great family hotel
Reviewed By carolepT5148QAStayed one night in a king suite. Yes, property is older, and carpet could use refreshing, but room was very clean, very spacious,and had a very comfortable bed. Excellent lighting, 2 sinks, couch and chair, very quiet and peaceful in building D. Grounds are lovely. Host gave us two excellent recommendations: one, dinner at Shamus, and two, Tom's Diner for breakfast. Outstanding. Town of Lockport is charming as well. Great stay!

Bowling Tournament
Reviewed By Alisha LHotel staff was super friendly and helpful. We were in town for a bowling tournament. Very accommodating to the various changes that we needed with our rooms. Hot breakfast was very good with a wide variety. Hotel was very clean and was constantly being cleaned by the staff. Would recommend anyone going to Lockport to stay there

I downloaded the Hilton app to do a digital check in and digital key, the front desk agent had no clue how to do this and we were unable to use. Finally got our keys and went up to the room and it was awful. There were crumbs on the tables, plastic wrappers on the floor, hair on the beds (in between the sheets) and fecal matter in the toilet. The front desk staff informed us he was the only one working at the time and no on could come and re clean the room, no other rooms were available. We left for dinner and informed staff that we would like it at least wiped. It was not. We ended up cleaning our own room, we did not leave since it was so late and doubted we could find another hotel room that late. Our room was not cleaned and no further contact was made by staff until checkout. We were told that several other guests had the same issue and that it was one cleaner specifically. And management would be reaching out. Management did not reach out until a company was filed on Hilton's website. The response came from a Hotmail account and was nothing more than a "sorry". Do not stay here. Management is awful. The staff we did interact with was very nice and apologetic, it seems to be a deeper management issue here.
