Reviewed By RonnyS_12Decent place to stay. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Room was newly remodeled and very clean. Nice shower, lots of pressure and hot water. 60” smart tv is awesome! Fridge in the room, everything worked as it should. Comfy king bed. Breakfast sucked. Sawdust biscuit and gravy. I’m not sure what the sausage was made of but I had to spit it out. Inedible. Fruit and yoghurt were good.

I was extremely pleased when I discovered that it was located close to where I was visiting. The room rate was very good compared to others in the area. The hotel and rooms were extremely up to date and very clean. The staff was great. I had a 3-night reservation and did not make it there on the first night. I called and was able to keep my reservation and check in at 9:00 the following morning. The breakfast was small, but they had a little of everything to make it yummy, like waffles, sausage, eggs and 24-hours coffee.

Poor Quality and Service
Reviewed By kdcpambaI arrived late at the hotel. The first room I was given reeked of smoke and for someone allergic to smoke, it was unacceptable. I went to the desk and was given a second room, the key didn't work. After my 3rd trip to the front desk, I finally was able to get into a room. The front desk staff were unconcerned. The quality and cleanliness of this hotel is very lacking. The drain and sink in the bathroom were filthy and smelled horribly. I brushed my teeth with bottled water instead of using the water from the sink. See attached picture of the drain. Take my word and make the drive to Evansville to stay somewhere else.

Reviewed By megank834This is a classy, historic home with nice rooms. We finished our evening out in the parlor and enjoyed the atmosphere. The family style breakfast around the table was an old-school delight. The host was friendly, professional and loves his town. The train passing nearby (very nearby) only added to the charming atmosphere of the stay and the town.

Moldy smelly room
Reviewed By 165candacekFront desk clerk was wonderful. Got to the room and was hit by horrible smell and dampness. I knew with my existing lung condition that I could not stay in this room. So called front desk and checked out. She was very nice and issued a refund.

Reviewed By REPAJWhole property looks a bit dingy and unclean. Carpets not vacuumed. Horrible laundry room. Washer filthy and agitator top missing. Unable to do laundry as planned. Beds old and lumpy. Do not recommend.
