Barking dog....

Reviewed By cnb134

We only stayed one day as there was a dog in a car barking all day long... otherwise the camper park is well appointed... We had hoped to use the washing machine but the booking system had failed and people had been jumping the queue ... There is a good bar/ restaurant next door where the camperpark owner hangs out. Maybe so he can’t hear the barking dog.... There is nothing to do in the immediate area so a car or bicycle would be helpful.

El camping en general está muy bien, parcelas amplias, baño siempre muy limpios, una piscina muy amplia con un horario ininterrumpido .La única pega que tengo que poner es los mosquitos por la noche qué son muy molestos.

Poor customer service

Reviewed By Escape11194900835

We are very disappointed as we spent an hour trying to get to the campsite back in April but the road to it was closed due to a rock fall. We  travelled up.and down the a7 four times but cannot get onto the road to the campsite we had to book another campsite 25 miles away. The satnav would not give us another route. Despite 15 emails we have still not had a refund from the campsite despite them saying they were reluctantly happy to do so.

Nice find

Reviewed By giovannis251

We found this campsite very last minute after having to leave another site in the area. I am glad we did, this proved to be a very good find. Even though we arrived well into the evening we got greeted by a friendly staff member. The plots are very generous and even though it was the high season the size of the campsite makes it feel very spacious and quiet. We were also pleasantly surprised by the dinner at the campsite restaurant, the food was good quality very generous servings and very cheap for the quality and quantity of food. I would definitely recommend this campsite.

Camping Tau

This is a smashing little site. On the edge of town so only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. As it's on the edge of the national park, the views are countryside. There was everything we needed and it was clean and tidy..there is a friendly bar on site with pool table and table tennis. Possibly might be difficult to manoeuvre a big caravan into the site so worth checking that your van will 'fit' before you go.

Camping VerdeVeras

This is an environmentally-friendly campsite for budget travellers who want a community feel. There are camping pitches for tents, caravans and campervans, and dormitory beds available in bell tents for those without their own accommodation. Walking distance to local town and public transport, with buses to the beach, airport and all major cities. Please note, this is a chemical-free environment. Natural products are available for customer use and for sale in reception. Our electricity is provided by solar panels, so there is limited power on site, but there are plenty of USB ports for charging gadgets.

Eco campsite in the true sense

This site is set up from scratch and run by an independent, warm and welcoming person called Rachel. I visited two years ago to help and this time to holiday. WHAT A WONDERFUL TRANSFORMATION. It is not the same as all others though still has clean facilities etc. It’s a peaceful place with great emphasis on environmental awareness. Only eco-products used, everything possible recycled, including water and eco shower gel provided. Generous sized pitches and an easy walk to supermarkets and the town and cycling distance from the sea (which can be seen from the site).
