Reviewed By ejm84Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't get to stay. We had car troubles between the NT and Queensland so were unable to get to Mount Isa on the night planned. Despite having plenty of availability this place chose to keep our money anyway despite us being able to stay the next night. Any decent business, particularly in the travel/tourism industry in the Covid era, would have offered to transfer the booking. Won't bother booking with these thieves again and will not recommend to anyone.

Reviewed By wombleydooMy friend and I stayed here for 4 nights. The room was clean and tidy, the beds comfortable. Nicely made up every day. The cups/crockery etc were disposable, but the "real stuff" was available at reception. Bit weird the handbasin/mirror was located outside the bathroom. We had room service breakfast on one of the days. Reasonable, tasty, the coffee (cappuccino) was actually rather good. The location was quite close to the main centre of town and easily walkable.

The Isa Hotel is a popular, affordable, mid-range Hotel offering spacious Hotel accommodation in the centre of Mount Isa. Isa Hotel is centrally located within the Mount Isa CBD on Miles Street, next door to our sister hotel the Redearth Boutique Hotel. Together both hotels offer a total of 70 accommodation rooms; 40 located at the Isa Hotel and 30 within the Redearth Hotel. Both hotels offer a superior room service menu as well as extended reception and housekeeping hours. Isa Hotel boasts 40 large deluxe modern Hotel rooms available in a mix of queen bed, family room with queen/single bed, twin queen with double queen beds and king single options. Rotten salad
Reviewed By Sherpa60794944440Well what can I say...... rotten salad. As a chef myself I know what is to be expected. The salad was slimely and wrinkley obviously been a slow week? All 3 of us ordered a salad and all was very disappointing. Mostly lettuce stalk and gross salad mix, even after waiting 45 minutes and then asking where our salads were considering they'd only been open 10 minutes prior to ordering. Left very disappointed and being a chef myself was was certainly disheartening #whereareallthechefs

A good big country pub
Reviewed By 571DavidB571We stopped here for lunch. Our entry QR code was checked as we came in. We ordered lunch from the adequate menu. My hamburger was huge. My wife had a steak burger which she enjoyed. She found the paper on the plate annoying. The pub is nicely air conditioned. It has adequate space for social distancing. The staff were lovely.

You won’t get what you booked.
Reviewed By Rob EStayed here overnight on a trip from Sydney to Darwin, travelling with 2 mates. Booked a room with 3 single beds some 6 weeks before travelling. Explained the situation to Melissa, who confirmed our requirement in writing. Upon arrival, was told we had a room with 1 Queen & 1 Single. On advising that is not what we booked / had confirmed with Melissa, was told …. “ she’s new”. Advised best they could do was give us another single room for an extra $140.00 pn. No other options available. After driving for 8 hrs, not what you want to experience, especially when I took extra effort to ensure we had pre booked for 3 singles in a share room. Room was OK ….. but our stay & experience was ruined by the booking let down and their reluctance to apologise or provide a suitable solution. At minimum, the additional single room should have been offered at no cost, given it was their error. We won’t be back, don’t recommend and spent nothing there.
