Super clean room! Tabitha is really sweet at the front! She always greets me when I come in. The other ladies are also very kind! They have muffins, oatmeal, coffee and granola bars ready for you each morning. I’ve enjoyed my stay! Thank you!

Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, The Yachtsman Resort has been a "home away from home" for several owners and visitors. The Yachtsman's great location, helpful staff, and fun activities have helped build many vacation memories and friendships for nearly 30 years. It's more than a resort, it's an icon - of family, fun, and fellowship
We checked in for a 2 night stay. Paid over $600.00 for a 2 bedroom oceanfront room. It was not worth what we paid. The layout was nice but the bedrooms smelled musty and old. The carpet felt damp. This was an end unit. Yes, we did have the sliding door cracked some but it was a perfect 74 degrees and no humidity. I understand these are rental units but the furniture definitely needs upgrading. It was filthy. The coffee table was warped. Unit 707 needs some love and attention. The beach was already packed. Difficult place to get out of if you are heading south unless you leave before noon. Hotel is oceanfront and at the end of the boardwalk. If you are a sun worshipper, would need to stay on the beach versus the pool in the afternoon. The balcony , what balcony? It is about 1 foot in width. For the money we Pais, I think I will stay somewhere else next time.

My husband and I stayed at Suburban for the weekend. Was a little disappointed because did not serve breakfast. Didn't have to be free, but couldn't even purchase. I had booked for 1 night at the friends and family rate, and we decided to stay another night. I thank Jay for extended my night at the rate that I had booked for the first night. He was very pleasant and nice. Also, would like to thank Aletta at front desk when I checked in on first night , and she too was very nice.

I have visited this same resort probably 30 times over the years. I paid $1100 for 3 nights. Our room in tower one was below average. The balcony door was difficult to open, one pillow for Murphy bed, no sheets or blankets for couch bed, floors were uneven and had cracks and gaps in them from installation, ran out of towels, toilet paper....just not the best accommodations. We loved the pools, beach, parking and most everything else. The room just really needed some attention or perhaps been on the "budget" room list. Knock $300 off the price and I'd say, "Well ok not bad."
