Amazing Stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay for our weekend getaway. We live about an hour away from Little Rock, so we are pretty familiar with the area. The hotel is just over a year old, so everything is in immaculate condition. We stayed in a standard room with a King bed and city view. It was somewhat small, but the space was used very well, so we didn’t feel cramped. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We ventured up to the rooftop bar just to check it out in the evening, and it did not disappoint. The views were lovely and there were plenty of comfy places to sit by the fire pits. The location is great because there are many great local restaurants and points of interests within walking distance. In fact, we didn’t drive at all once we were checked in. I would caution about walking around later in the night, however. There was a shooting about 2 blocks from the hotel the night we were there, which is not uncommon for Little Rock. We always feel safe during the day, but the nights bring about some unsavory characters and events. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and will stay here again I’m sure.

Good location, nice environment.

This Motel 6 was much nicer than the one I stay at previously in Little Rock, AR (the 'South' location). The room was a good size and there was plenty of access to amenities in the area. Truly, if I had to pick one thing that was a slight negative regarding my stay at this Motel 6, it would be that the bed was a bit soft. However, that's a personal preference and may not bother others used to a softer bed. Other than that, I'd recommend staying at this Motel 6 if you are in Little Rock.

Dirty, bugs, gross!

We got there in late afternoon and it is in a very sketchy area. There are sketchy people hanging around outside. But, we had a non-refundable reservation and it was just a place to crash on a road trip, so went ahead an checked in. He sent us to Room 225. We went up there and the sheets were all over the bed in a messy dirty pile and there was garbage on the table, so obviously that room was not cleaned. We went back to front desk, and he called someone and blessed them out for the room not being cleaned. He then assigned us Rm 226. We went up there and the bed was made, but did not look the freshest as the pillow were kind of balled up on one side of the bed. The floors looked like they had not been vacuumed in awhile and there was garbage still in the garbage can. We went ahead and stayed since it seemed all their rooms were gross and we were tired from out trip. We slept on top of some blankets we had in the car. Took a shower in the morning and the tub had mold/mildew all around the edges. Got out of there and was glad to leave. Did not even look at their "breakfast" as it was likely unfit for consumption based on the rest of the motel.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT STAY HERE! WORST PLACE

Reviewed By MsRocky87

DO NOT STAY HERE!! PLEASE!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! PLEASE!!! They have bedbugs!!! I got bit 21'TWENTY ONE! times the first night! I thought it was a mosquito in the room and turned up the ac but 4 days later and my children and I are absolutely covered in bites. Well, i felt a bite on my face this morning and there was a BEDBUG ON MY FACE!!! I freak out but i figure I'll just see if the front desk has bug spray and just to inform them. Really nice guy tells me his manager is coming in and he'll let him know. At this point, we've been here almost a week and had never taken advantage of the free breakfast. My daughter is sick and stayed with me and i was a little low on money so I made her a bowl of cereal. The manager comes in speaking his language( indian). I was sitting at the table with my child, drinking coffee and watching her eat cereal when The manager comes up to me and VERY RUDELY tells me we are weekly payers and we cannot eat their breakfast and verbatim told me and my 8 year old daughter "to not come back tomorrow." I was completely blown away and my child's face completely dropped!!! I was furious and devastated that he actually spoke to me this way and made my child feel like crap for eating apple jacks! I asked him if i can get a refund for the last night because I just couldn't see myself staying here anymore. He says yes and then starts yelling that we have 6 people in our room ( me,hubby, 4 small kids) and that he wasn't going to let us stay another week. ( we weren't anyway) THAT WAS HIS PROBLEM, HE WAS MAD THAT HIS EMPLOYEE GAVE US A ROOM! He took his frustration out on us that he should have taken on his employee. I told him we did nothing to be spoken to this way, my daughter and I even made the beds and cleaned the room before we left. After i asked about the refund, he said we needed to pack our stuff. Heres the kicker: we only stayed here because our roof caved in and I'm battling stage 3 cervical cancer and going through chemo. I had to move all of our stuff from the 2nd floor by myself by my husband was at work. I used every bit of strength i had. When i told him i was a chemo patient and he was treating us terribly, the manager YELLED at me that if I don't like the policy, I can leave! He was just making new crap policies up as he went because he was mad his employee let us all stay in the room. But NOTHING hurt me as bad as the yelling at me and my child for eating a bowl of cereal. I will be reporting this place to the hospitality Association and the department of health. Also, rooms are dusty and nasty, there is only 5 working channels, wifi is absolutely awful, the bath runs while you shower and there's bedbugs. They already can't sell more than 40% of their rooms and i really hope they shut down soon. This is not okay. I'm still in tears, I'm a nice lady. I'm sick with family i might not see grow and we just didn't deserve it. Go a mile down and check in at the Americas best value or get a room in downtown. Please please please don't go here. They will take your money and treat you like crap. I don't wish ill on people but karma is real.
