Safe and clean!
Reviewed By JgatterdamHad a great experience! Room was extremely clean and modern. Had plugs everywhere and lots of room. Having the larger fridge and seating area makes a huge difference. Almost like an embassy, but much more modern. The only con would be the animals, if you are not an animal person. Lots of dogs barking when we were there. However, in our room I heard nothing. Stay on the backside away from the highway.

Also known as the “Gateway to Florida” the town is at a cross roads between two major interstates; I-10 going east toward Jacksonville/ Atlantic coast or west toward Tallahassee / Florida panhandle. Many continue south on I-75 toward central or south Florida. Points of interest near are historic downtown Lake City and lake DeSoto, Osceola National Forest, Stephen Foster State Folk Culture Center and Suwanee River, Itchetucknee State Park, and Olustee Battlefield. The Inn has free WI-FI throughout, a large outdoor pool, 24-hour front desk staff, a morning coffee and tea station in lobby, and ample parking. All guestrooms include a microwave, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, free local calls, and 32” flat screen TV with satellite service including HBO, ESPN, and Univision. The Inn offers Non-smoking and a limited number of smoking rooms. Smoking is Not Permitted on walkways, in front of guest room doors, or in front of A/C vents, however designated outdoor smoking areas exist for guests. No local guests allowed within a 50 mile radius. Sorry no pets allowed. Good value for money
Reviewed By ATM_LiverpoolDidn’t know what to expect but very impressed for what we paid and our first experience of a motel. The room was spotless! Lovely comfy bed and a nice little pool. Service was efficient and it’s a great location next to loads of restaurants. A great place for a no frills overnight stay and we would definitely book again if passing! Only issue was a very old fashioned air con unit which did the job but was very noisy.

The Jasmine Garden Inn is located near exit 427 off I-75 in Lake City, Florida. It has smoking and non-smoking rooms available. All rooms have microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, iron & ironing board, free WIFI, free long distance calls across the United States, cable TV with 70 + channels, coin operated laundry, a shared full kitchen and play set w/slide for kids. We offer light snacks such as cereal bars,fruits and bottled water in the morning (no formal breakfast). The Inn is conveniently located next to the Lake City Medical Center and in close proximity to US 90 which is the main thoroughfare with several restaurants and shops.

Reviewed By 228RunnerPleasantly surprised with the value here. Most places around Lake City were double the price. We had a king non-smoking room with a jacuzzi tub. Pet friendly was a must. Room has fridge, microwave, decent space, pretty clean, and comfortable bed. Only negative was the traffic sound on i-75, but earplugs fixed that. Proprietor is a nice, interesting guy.

Basic, but clean and welcoming
Reviewed By HR-StatesideRoom was clean, bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. This is a perfectly good place for a short stay, as long as you know what to expect. It's a standard motel (although some websites list it as Driftwood Inn, so don't get caught out). No breakfast available here, but the property is close to many different food places. Parking is easy and plentiful. I would stay here again if I'm in town.

Reviewed By Michael SThis place is a dive, and that’s putting it nicely. I’m fat from a hotel “snob”, but when you find a dead bug in the shower upon arrival, the mattresses look like either a sex party gone bad or a murder had occurred, you may want to steer clear. You’ve been warned.
