The Valamar Tamaris Resort is located within the beautiful and green Lanterna peninsula, featuring a well maintained park with mature oak and fir trees together with Mediterranean shrubs that line the meandering pedestrian walkways and well kept beaches. Reviewed By FridayC5We was offered this holiday as our previous holiday was cancelled. We were a bit sceptical about how the stay. would be going from previous reviews. This hotel has been nothing but fantastic. The food here has been lovely and plentiful. The drinks are a little sweet but I can live with that. Hotel itself is very clean and well kept. The staff here have all been great and work so hard. We took a visit to the spa today where we had a body scrub massage which was heavenly. I would 100% come back here and totally recommend coming here if you want to relax. The nearest town is about £20 in a taxi each way. We visited the Old Town which was very nice. Lots of places to eat and drink there. This hotel is great for young families too.

Reviewed By morton2008This place is absolutely massive so be prepared to either walk a lot or have a bike. There are two separate very different pool complexes. The one by the beach for more grown ups with amazing views and you can pop to (very rocky) beach. Other one has slides etc but be prepared to pay for your sunloungers. Lots of reasonable food places but stay away from the restaurants on the road in who try and coax you in. Overall clean and loads to do and would recommend.
