Spacious and comfortable
Reviewed By andrewcA8279EISmart modern hotel. Unusually large rooms, which were comfortable, well-equipped and peaceful. Large car park and we were able to park the car within sight of our rooms. Buffet breakfast was very good. The hotel is situated several kilometres from Annécy in a rather sterile and characterless area, but we were able to find a super restaurant close by - see my separate review. The location does have the benefit of ease of access from the autoroute, which avoids the need to drive into Annécy town centre other than for sightseeing.

Far away from the stressful urban life (2.5km). Near the lake and the old town centre. A delightful hotel with 66 rooms, swimming pool, restaurant with shady terrace and bar with an open fire. Free outdoor parking. Conference rooms.

Reviewed By MorgyGwentWe stayed here for 3 nights on our journey through France and Switzerland . The hotel is a little way outside Annecy but we used the local bus service with ease. The staff are friendly and courteous indulging me with my basic French. The garden rooms are well appointed with tea facilites , water and soft drinks an added bonus. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good choice of continental, cheese , breads etc.. We ate in the restaurant the first night and enjoyed our meal. The restaurant manager was chatty and friendly.There is a a relaxing bar area with a small library, drink are reasonably priced. An added bonus the pool and terrace area. Weenjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By DavidK8388The rooms are OK, however didn't feel so safe. There were constantly shady men drinking beer in the parking lot. Breakfast was normal in french standards. Cleaning service is not daily. The hotel is located 15 minute walk from restaurants and town center. Overall it's OK for a budget room for a few nights.

Reviewed By Rocio JThe hotel is good for 1 or 2 nights no more. The room is not very wide but if you not stay a long time is good. The bed is not comfortable and the bathroom is small. The location is good, 12 minutes to the center by car.

Unreasonable Overcharge and Never Reply
Reviewed By Rossana CI'm stills calling Altess Hotel for reimburement from 2015, but Hotel never reply us. We only stayed one night on 5 Apr 2015 and room charges had been settled at hotel's counter when we checked out on 6 April 2015. However, we received a bank statement on 22 Apr for EUR50 which was charged by Altess Hotel after the trip. We sent emails to Atless Hotel in both English & France for following the case, but up to now stills no answer.
