Located in Anjou, this new contemporary hotel has 48 light and air-conditioned rooms equipped with 32-inch LCD TVs. Our hotel features a traditional restaurant, meeting rooms and a car park. Located 18 miles (30 km) from Angers, at the crossroads of the main highways from Angers to Rennes and Nantes to Laval, our hotel is perfect for both business and leisure trips.
Disappointing
Reviewed By chris pThis was a stay at this particular IBIS. On arrival, there was nobody on reception. Eventually somebody appeared from the restaurant handed us a key with very few words and disappeared again. The reception area was very pleasant and the restaurant looked OK, although we did not eat there other than breakfast the next morning which was of the usual IBIS good standard. We found our room only to discover that we had for some unknown reason been allotted a room for the disabled on the ground floor. It was horrible, tired, shabby and smelly as though it had been used by smokers for years and never refurbished. As it was now 10pm and we had an early start the next morning, we accepted the room but will not be staying there again. It was very disappointing since it was worlds away from our usual experience of the Ibis Styles in St. Malo Port

The Manoir has recently been renovated and refurbished to a high standard back to the 16th century manoir it once was. It provides four spacious bedroom suites with all modern conveniences including WiFi and walk-in showers. We also offer a Table d'hote dinner which must be pre-booked.The Manoir is set in 2 1/2 hectares of grounds with 2 small well stocked lakes.
Superbly converted house with charming hosts
Reviewed By Gnomes37Stayed for 1 night on the table d'hote option in Elstar, ground floor and excellent if you are less ambulant than most. It us avery large twin bed room with a most impressive en suite. Everything was immaculately presented and the room is very comfortable, quiet and for the light sensitive, dark. Chris and Charles were excellent hosts and provided a superb dinner with an apparently unlimited supply of very good local wines. The post dinner whisky tasting was also a very unexpected and unusual feature. Breakfast was a very full buffet with plenty to eat and drink and pretty much all tastes catered for. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend Le Manoir. Well worth a visit.

Tricky to Find but Well Worth It
Reviewed By JaneBeaOntarioWe booked this accommodation from Canada and while we had some difficulty because we did not have a direct PayPal account, eventually the hostess accepted our reservation (with some misgivings expressed in a cryptic email). Even though there were several sign posts to guide us, it was difficult to find -- we actually knocked on the door of another house thinking that the sign indicated it was La Forcerie, however, the trouble was worth it. The accommodation was just modern enough to be convenient without losing its charm. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was exceptional (very spacious & loved the shower heads). It is self catering with a shared living room, kitchen and garden. Breakfast is provided at an additional cost and while we did not partake, we were not made to feel uncomfortable while sitting together with those who did. While it is a little out of the way, if you're in the area, this is a great accommodation.

Classic French aristocracy looking after your every need
Reviewed By NorthvanbearArrived here on bicycles after a long day riding. Mme de Vitton was the most gracious and welcoming person we met in two weeks. She saw that we needed a beer and she provided it, with glasses, in the garden. Then she said we looked tired and she would make dinner for us! The gite in which we stayed was well appointed and even had a TV for us to watch football. Supper was traditional French farm food along with three wines and all imaginable other stuff. We rolled out of there. In the morning breakfast was ready and we were treated like other aristocracy. What a delight this was. Merci Mme!
