Hotel Viking has 41 well furnished and cozy rooms and 14 cottages, including shower, WC and television. The décor of the rooms on the first floor is Viking style and on the second floor it is a West Nordic theme. When you enter the Hotel, you are greeted with fine art and crafts from three countries; Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. We have wireless Internet and free parking just outside the hotel. In our geothermal hot tub and sauna, you can recuperate and freshen up and relax after a long day of excitement. Our guests are welcome to our Fjörukráin,the Viking Restaurant and pub, which is open for dinner every day from 18.00. The style is Viking, whereby during these famous feasts there is never a dull moment and the guests can expect various treats and surprises offered by our singing Valkyries and Vikings.
OK Hotel - Tiny Single Room - Staff Could Be More Cheerful
Reviewed By Alan WI stayed here for one night. I was in Hafnarfjordur to watch football at FH. It took me 25 minutes to walk to the stadium. The hotel is situated on the seafront only 5-8 minute walk from the Fjordur bus terminal which is on the promenade. The staff at the hotel weren't very inviting at all. My single room was extremely small to say the very least. The breakfast options were OK but the staff member on duty never ever said a word, nit even Good Mirning. It was the same with the Reception staff too on the day I kept the hotel. The restaurant opposite offers food and drink even though it is origen but, Iceland is expensive after all.

Reviewed By Arnar123An amazing stay in a great room with huge space allowing for a lot of flexibility. Outdoor you have access to a sauna and hot tubs and can just relax near the ocean and have a great view to enjoy. Totally worth the stay and we will be back....hopefully sooner than later

Lava Hostel offers low price accommodation in in a quiet and beautiful area of Hafnarfjordur. It is the perfect location to start or end your Iceland trip, as it is located only 30 minutes from Keflavik International Airport and 10 minutes from Downtown Reykjavik. In this great atmosphere we offer both private rooms for 2 to 4 people and dormitory sleeping bag accommodation for 4 - 8 people. There is also a camping site next to the hostel. All our guests are welcome to use our kitchenette and dining area. There is free parking, and free Wi-Fi in the house. The hostel and campsite is closed for winter and will open again in May 2019.
Small but nice campsite
Reviewed By alistaird8992We stayed at the campsite of this hostel the first and the last night of our trip in Iceland. The staff was really friendly and we were allowed to use the kitchen facilities of the hostel. Showers smell like egg but it is normal in Iceland. It is located in a really quiet neighbourhood and has a nice park next to it. Reykjavik city center is located about 10 min by car from there.

Hotel Vellir is a new hotel with 68 guest rooms & a conference hall. The hotel is located in outskirts of the Reykjavik Capital Area close to the Keflavik international airport. From the hotel door steps you have numerous walking paths including lava, mountain and lakes. And only few meters from the hotel is the biggest thermal pool in Iceland. The public bus stop is next to the hotel and there you can catch a bus straight to down town Reykjavik. The perfect place to relax but without missing on all that Reykjavik has to offer.

Reviewed By vrkungThe room is biggest among the few hotels we stayed during the trip. Ample windows bring in more light. The room faces South which I preferred. The Bath room is big too and the shower is strong. However, the bed and pillows are not supportive. Breakfast is good and basically cold except for the waffle.

Reviewed By crystalmA8260LUThis is a very quaint stay that's conveniently located close to the bus stop and in walking distance of a couple of pubs. The room was very small and the pictures have a more modern look than mine. I had a small shelving unit to organize my things and barely any room for our bags. There were two of us staying and it was a tight fit. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The bathroom was a pain!!! The design made it so the floor was wet for hours after a shower. The pillows were so poor we went to Costco and bought our own. There was a nice size mini fridge. I will look for other accommodations the next time I visit, but won't avoid the T10 should nothing else fit my budget.
