Loved the Extra Room
Reviewed By Gwendolyn MThis was my first time staying at theh GrandStay Residential Suites and I REALLY liked it. It was not far off the highway but still just outside Faribault in a quiet location. Plenty of parking, staff was nice and professional and the room had a living room, kitchenette with ammenities and separate bedroom and bathroom. I could keep food in the refrigerator and actually freeze my ice blocks for the next day of travel in their normal size freezer. I could spread out my things and reorganize on the counter between the kitchenette and living room which was really nice. AND it was nice and quiet at night and in the morning. I will definately look into staying here again when I travel this way.

Bed Bug Alert!!!
Reviewed By 290raeleenrEverything about the hotel experience was good EXCEPT that I got bit by bed bugs (on arm/hand shown in pics and on my side/hips) which rules out all other things in my opinion. Had to wash all of our clothes on the hottest wash cycle/dry cycle right when we got home and our bags are out in the garage still two weeks later because I'm afraid to bring them in the house yet. The front desk staff apologized when I showed them the bites, but no discount for our rooms was ever offered or an apology given by the manager. Would not go there again based on this.

Reviewed By Z2238EUkathyhMy husband and I stopped at this hotel on our way home from a trip to Ontario. Elizabeth greeted us with a warm and inviting "Good evening." Oftentimes, when arriving to a hotel late in the evening the front desk clerk greeting is more of an annoyance than making you feel glad you stopped. Elizabeth found the best possible rate for us and worked to meet all our needs. The room was efficient and we were able to get a good night's sleep before continuing down the road towards home.

Smoker's Convention?
Reviewed By Barry EVery unprepossessing looking place, but rooms inside were not too bad. Problem was that everything smelled like smoke. We didn't request a non-smoking room, assuming that everything was mostly non-smoking these days. Boy were we wrong. It was also pretty noisy all night.

Reviewed By 640rustingThe Inn was the perfect place for visiting the SSM campus. The rooms are good-sized and comfortable. The convenience of being on campus cannot be beaten. The breakfast in the morning the a basic continental but appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.
