Reviewed By aph1985We stayed in a fully furnished Blackwood cabin. From the roofs of the houses, there's a beautiful view of the sea. In the kitchen, there were various appliances, including an espresso maker. The complimentary Wi-Fi was quite fast. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay that provided an ideal base for exploring Tasmania's Far South. The hosts, Alex and Nadine, are fantastic.

A traditional country house thoroughly modernised and wheelchair accessible provides guests with comfortable, well-appointed en-suite rooms with TV/DVD, free WIFI & mini-bar. Set on a small farm in Dover with free ranging chickens, sheep, vegetable garden and fruit orchard within walking distance to shops, restaurants & beach. Our breakfasts include a range of continental goodies as well as breakfast cooked to order. We cater for vegetarian & vegan guests as well as guests with gluten or lactose intolerances. You won't leave hungry! Guests can also recharge Electric Vehicles onsite at no additional charge.

We offer spacious, clean & affordable self-contained holiday apartments overlooking the three islands, bays and pristine beaches of Dover Tasmania. Each apartment is fully equipped with kitchen and facilities, heating & electric blankets, TV & DVD player with movies, communal laundry. Bikes, fishing rods all FREE TO USE!

Reviewed By snakevmcWe stayed 5 days at Smugglers. Our room was so clean, the beds were so comfortable, the suite was very spacious, and very well appointed - a home away from home. The owners were so friendly and obliging - we used the BBQ area, and the laundry where all your needs were met. Fabulous stay - will be back - highly recommend!

Reviewed By cmsoz2 nights for us who live within one hour's drive of The Peninsula Experience. The Cape House is warm and inviting through its spaciousness, privacy, views and comfort. Numerous sitting areas inside and outside. Hot tub clean and great to relax within while admiring the night sky, dawn and sunset. We saw 2 sea eagles soaring on high, numerous small birds and a family of wedge tailed eagles circling at great height.

Comfortable and roomy accommodation
Reviewed By Alan SWe enjoyed our stay at Halcyon of Dover very much. We had a large comfortable room including a sitting area with views across the garden and green fields beyond. Breakfast was excellent. Our hostess, Marianne was kind and knowledgable. One morning she walked us down to the local museum for a guided tour. We enjoyed our chats with her over our 3 day stay. We highly recommend Halcyon - and Dover in general - as good choices to base oneself for exploration of the south-eastern region of Tasmania.

This lodge is the meaning of true "bliss".
Reviewed By Bianca FMy partner and I spent two days here at the lodge and did not want to leave!! The kitchen had a big gas stove cooktop and a massive oven, the lounge room was beautiful and the beds were really comfy. It is in the perfect location, it really feels like a "wilderness getaway." This place is so perfect and the best place we have stayed in, ever! I'm not sure when we will be back, but I know we definitely will be back again. Cannot fault this place at all! Thank you so much!!
