Reviewed By Mark_and_NeidaAs we've come to expect, the room was spotlessly clean, the bed not too hard and not too soft, the employees are friendly, and the hot breakfast is pretty good considering it's free. I don't expect the latest décor or fancy extras for $120, the exercise room is modern and super clean, and the pool (which we didn't use) looked spotless as well. Being an IHG card holder we also got a bunch of bonus points and a little extra gift of snacks at check in. IHG has become our go-to when there's not an II-affiliated resort or intriguing B&B near our destinations.

Reviewed By ChathamMassOur room on the highway side was very noisy with traffic throughout the evening. I rated it a 3 out of 5 instead of lower because the staff was very nice and the room was clean. The price was quite high especially for this type of roadside motel. A disappointment.

Reviewed By K2832QHjohnaWe were only going to stay a couple nights, but within 15 minutes of arriving my wife changed it to 6. Our lavish room was almost as big as our house. By the time those days were done we felt part of the family and we were sad to leave. There is good access to the creek with a canoe and two kayaks. Don't like to drive for dinner? You can use the canoe to go under the Suicide Bridge to the nearby restaurant or take a pleasant walk there. There is plenty to do within a 1 hour radius when you do have to drive. There was a fine and varied breakfast and conversation every morning, with the owners Debbie and Alan Marvel and other guests. Did I mention catfish fishing off the dock with Debbie and another guest one slow and beautiful afternoon? Marvels on the creek sets the gold standard for a BandB. Its the best place we've ever stayed.

Reviewed By JSme90We had a fine time. The food from the bar was great - the events we attended where food was served was subpar. The room was clean, nice, and quiet. We understand that a lot of the staff is new, however many of them would answer "I don't know" to questions and not seek out answers. We did see some bugs in a few public areas inside of the hotel. The Spa was wonderful, clean, and relaxing. The services were great and the staff was friendly. The main pool outside was nice. Enough seats and towels when we were out. I feel like for the price paid the service was subpar

Reviewed By dianecW8719OWThis is not a very nice place to stay . Bed was hard and mushy cigarette holes in comforter. No hair dryer in room. Wall needs painted in room . Halls look like they have never been swept . No small coffee pot in room. The bar in bath tub wasn’t there must have broke and never replaced. Tv remote wouldn’t work. Musty smell in room and bathroom. No xtra blankets you only had a sheet. I don’t plan on going back here any time soon!
