Reviewed By worldtripaddict06Surrounded by forest, amazing place, service, food, people, and room, delighted, very typical, and traditional, perfect stop for a night along the way , really, perfect. And the wood bath was the nice touch for a warm calm pause!

Traditional mountain guesthouse
Reviewed By lupasrouThis is a traditional place to stay for a day or more and go on mountain hikes from here. It’s quite a drive out from the main road, but the views are amazing and it’s totally worth it. The common areas are very cozy and welcoming, the rooms are simple, but comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have taken very seriously the corona- measures and you feel very safe staying at this place. The WiFi didn’t reach the rooms and it was uncomfortable since there was no telephone coverage in the area. You had to pay 100 kr fee to drive up the road to the place. I did not count on this extra expense.

The family was always avid collectors of fine art, paintings by the great Norwegian Masters, and wooden objects by the Norwegian Masters of folk art from the eighteenth century, most notably two cabinets by "Skjak Ola", which are proudly on display at Elveseter today. Reviewed By paularobnett72A stop in Elveseter hotell for one night, a place that for a while I wanted to stay over. Its an old farm converted into a hotel that still maintains its rural lodge charm. A place to disconnect from the routine and embrace the calmness and beauty of of thus Norwegian gem, The three dish dinner was very good and relaxing in the many cosy social areas in the main building/ lobby a great way to end the evening. Try the local beer from Lom. This place is magical for those who seek Norwegian rustic charm. The staff were great people that offer great service too!

En vakker tidsreise
Reviewed By Liv Marit Ø2 voksne og 1 tenåring sov i stabburet fra 1650. Veldig rent, hyggelig og autentisk. 2 køyesenger her med gode madrasser, kjøkkenkrok med passe utstyr, sittegruppe og tv. Fredelig, svært hyggelig og nostalgisk! Vakkert pynta rundt i husene og på tunet, og det var som å bevege seg i et museum ??? Vakkert pynta fellesstue fra 1720 med peis, langbord og skinnfeller på benkene. Felles dusj og wc, men alt rent og fint! Ragnhild og Arne var vennligheta selv, og byr på historien om de gamle husene. Rimelig er det også! Anbefales!!

Verdt utsikten, men null søvn
Reviewed By MarthebrFamtastisk opplevelse, men ikke reis på sommeren. Vi kom til 40 grafer inne i domen og uten tilgang på vifte var det ikke mulig å være der før 20 tiden på kvelden. Det var ekstremt lyst hele natten og sov dermed ikke. Bjeller fra sauer rundt domen hele natten. Men selve opplevelsen og utsikten er upåklagelig.
