Reviewed By Joao RComfortable rooms, and beautiful views. Near the center with nice walks along the river and in between the old part of town. Stay on the last rooms on the corridor if you stay at the down floor. More quite and far from lift and reception for more quite space. Amazing hot water poll with "churros" on a very nice SPA. Recommended.

Reviewed By NhikerThe village of Allariz won our prize for best village in Galicia, and it was a pleasure to stay at O Portela, Rural. Pila was nice and very helpful, and exploring the town and walking along the banks of the river were pure pleasures. Too, there's a chocolate factory near by.

nice cheap with good rooms
Reviewed By ianbinghamlate arrival here. had another pension in mind but whilst asking directions we were told that this was better and much cheap. very cheerful man booked us in showed us to lovely rooms and then delivered beer and good food. Pleasant atmosphere in bar, lots of locals watching football. Real Madrid actually. lovely sleep and nice walk round old town and market in the morning. another pleasant experience on our road trip.

Authentic hotel with a nice experience
Reviewed By Alex GWe slept one night here in one of the rooms. In the building they originally processed leather, and you can still see remains of that, it is like a small museum. The room was large enough with a very small table, but everything was there. The only problem is the wooden floor which makes a lot of sound when you walk on it. For parking you can either park on the street or they can give you a special card which allows you to park in a reserved zone. The breakfast was really good with home-made products: cake, bread, marmalade, etc. Also the personnel was friendly.

The Hotel A Palleira is situated in the old Grandfather Felisando farmhouse and is made up of two traditional stone houses , his farmhouse and an adjoining barn, which is today a hotel. Both buildings were originally two barns and renovated in 1922 into a house (the oldest of the two) and the other, registered in the local town hall in 1890, was restored in 2004, making it into the hotel. The restoration aimed to preserve the traditional urban style of the area with the comforts of modern day living indoors. The Hotel A Palleira is located in the Outeiro de Orraca hamlet, in the municipality of Allariz, well away from the noise and in a typical rural setting, close to the village, 2 km away, with easy access and next to the A-52 motorway (Allariz exit), hidden and integrated into the surrounding natural environment.

The owners of the hotel helped us with all our needs and were very helpful with our elderly mother. If visiting to this area of Spain I would highly recommend your stay at this hotel.
