ok, but not worth the price
Reviewed By mrfehIt's an older property that needs updating. Our room was clean, but the decor is dated. Location is excellent, if you want to be in the business district. My main complaint is that it's a run-of-the-mill hotel but is priced like an upscale one. Rates may be more sensible during the week, but I stayed on a Saturday night, and the cost was $200 after taxes and fees. I could see spending $90 for this place, but it's definitely not worth $200.

NASTY FRONT DESK PERSON!
Reviewed By lcjack2022Never, have I ever encountered such an attitude in ANY establishment! The woman at the front desk (manager, I assume) , was very condescending and snippy. I reserved a room for a friend who would need it the next day, although I should have gone with my instincts and not done so. A few hours later I tried to cancel, and she refused to not run my card because I gave less than 24 hour notice. I probably would have dealt with it had she not been so ugly about it. I tried asking a question, and she b*tched me out for arguing with her (I wasn't, and I had a witness). I can't believe this site gives this place more than one star! Avoid it at all cost, and if you need an inexpensive, clean, friendly hotel, go to the Motel 6 or Super 8 on Appleway. Both hotels will treat you with dignity and are very helpful. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to the Budget Saver.

Old shack for the price of a palace
Reviewed By 988alexeifVery outdated property at a very expensive price. Wyndham is making money on the location, but is not investing in the upkeep or renovation. The room was smelly, the windows faced somebody’s house with noisy tenants. The bed was squishy and uncomfortable. Overall, not worth the $180 per night.

Horrible
Reviewed By Justme1980We reserved 2 rooms 6 adults 2 children. I reserved non smoking they said I put non smoking preferred. We get there check in go to our rooms and they are smoking rooms and smell horrible. My baby has asthma. I’m pregnant I immediately give an itchy throat runny nose. My skin feels dirty. I went to the office and told them we couldn’t stay they’re they said sorry that is what I booked. I said Non smoking they told me I said not smoking preferred. They would not do anything but spay the room. They sprayed the room and we went to target to get a air neutralizer. We got back tried the neutralizer and it didn’t help. I told them we could not stay there they said they would charge me the first night in both rooms for late cancellation. We did not want to cancel but we had to we couldn’t breathe. It was BOTH rooms!!!!! Room 15 was worse than 14 but still couldn’t breathe. I ended up having to pay double for a different hotel on top of the to rooms for the first night at this hotel. Horrible experience. Will never ever get a hotel from them again.

Unsafe and run by people with no integrity
Reviewed By courtneyy610Run, do not walk away from this place. We booked online and when we arrived to say it was unsanitary and unsafe was an understatement. My child immediately had trouble breathing the room as it was so dirty and chlorine filled. When I explained this to the gal at the front desk she said they would refund our stay, no problem, but the manager was out for the evening and they would have to refund it the next day. Unfortunately I took them at their word but then the refund never came, my phone calls and emails were never returned, and when I disputed it through the credit card agency, they lied and said we had fulfilled our stay. I have never had a worse experience at a hotel, and we travel very often. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place.
