Reviewed By jorgev201912The hotel is well located on the thoroughfare, parking lots enough available.Unfortunately it is a bit dirty everywhere, already at the front desk and in the hallways. The room was dusty, the curtain broke. In the bathroom still remains of toothpaste and the soap from the predecessor.. The sheets were ok. The breakfast is too expensive. Too bad, here you could do something good with little effort.

Reviewed By jasmien1008You get the best vieuw of the lake at Maison des Pêcheurs! The room is very pretty and clean. We do reccomend a room at the first floor, they all come with e nice terrace I believe. The room is very cute and well decorated. It's also very open and spacious. The bathroom has a great shower! Very powerful and warm. The food in my opinion was a bit overpriced but I guess you pay extra for the nice vieuw. The waiters and waitresses work very hard and are very friendly. You don't have to wait long for the food to arrive. Breakfast was a bit limited but the fruit salad was very delicous!

Lovely property but not for those less able
Reviewed By tiskermanThis is a lovely place and the hosts Valerie and Serge were very kind and helpful. The issue of the number of stairs was a bit difficult, There is a very steep incline and 10 steps to the front door. Then two more flights of stairs to the rooms. If you want to go in the pool, you have to go down all these stairs again and also down another steep incline, all in all quite hard for someone in any way physically challenged. We wish that someone had warned us about the access problems, before we stayed. Otherwise the bedrooms and bathrooms were very good quality, with a fridge in the room. The two dogs on the property are very friendly and breakfast is provided on the terrace, in the summer en famille.

What Joy!
Reviewed By Raibeart MWalked here in the rain. Certain parts of the bar area had cobwebs with dead insects in situ. It took some time to discover staff who could help. The dining room has an amazing ceiling and a beautiful display of personal possessions (a machine that plays music from folded card, a stunning grandfather clock ...). The contrast between the grubby green decor in the apparently rarely used bar and the beauty of the dining room (with amazing views over the lake) was extraordinary. I would love to stay in this place. The coffee au lait was awesome. A pudding bowl half full and a large jug of hot milk - for the price I have grown used to paying for a tiny coffee. The apple tart was beautifully presented. I had asked for no cream so I was given a wonderful ball of delicious ice cream. Whoever had prepared my dish had done a lovely job. We were served by a charming young woman whose family have owned the hotel for over 30 years.

Reviewed By Pascal Wwe stayed here during the 2015 international regatta savoie mont blanc with our team of 25 rowers and staff. This family-run hotel offers a nice little hotel with clean rooms. But you should not expect too much on the size of the room - also the bathroom doors were unfortunately replaced by curtains. There is free WIFI. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You should definitely taste the wine and the cheese plate.
