A great find, let down by a very ordinary breakfast

This is a wonderfully evocative place, oozing old world charm but with a lift, clean and decent sized bedrooms and a good bathroom. Wifi and aircon were fine, and the views to the castle from our rooms was glorious. Dinner in their restaurant (1/4 of a baby lamb) was way too much for 2, but delicious. (Prices of meals here and in the other restaurants in town seemed unusually high though.) There is a wonderful, large sitting area on the first floor that reeks of charm. The castle itself is well worth the visit, and the town has a medieval charm to it. The breakfast for 5 euro was however a big letdown. 2 bits of toast and jam and a few croissants and coffee. I know this is a typical Spanish breakfast, but we had been spoilt by buffet breakfasts in every other Spanish hotel we stayed at on this 2 weeks trip.

Complejo Rural A Toca

Best Hotel In Spain

Reviewed By galegina

This is simply, one of the best places I´ve ever stayed in my travelling life.. Location is absolutely amazing, Hamilton & David were the best hostess anyone could ask for!! You´re made feel so comfortable from the moment you ring the doorbell. I was staying with a friend and we booked the Cobalto room in advance and it was a great room. It´s got a very clean ensuite bathroom, large shower, lots of room in there. Bedroom is very big too, the bed is just so comfortable. There´s a large sitting room to share with the other guests.. Breakfast is an unique experience, there are freshly baked goods there every day with endless coffee, fresh juice, quiche, pancakes and other yummy treats. But truly what makes A Toca unique is the care and personalized service Hamilton & David give you. They help you with suggestions on where to go, help you booking activities and cater to whatever you may need. Thank you both for the warmth with which you looked after us!

What a Find!

We were looking for a place to spend a night that was close to Segovia, and we couldn't have found a better spot. La Abubilla is located in a tiny little town about half an hour outside of Segovia. The rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned, and Marta at the front desk couldn't be friendlier. She served a beautiful breakfast, too! Because it's in a very rural location, there aren't many restaurants around, but we had a very nice dinner at a cafe in nearby Turegano.

Muy buen sitio de vacaiones

Reviewed By naniventayol
