Reviewed By GalyaK51Location: on top of the hill, 2 minutes down to the beach, amazing view of the Indian Ocean, the mountains and the moon reflected on the see. Rooms : we had the family suit - amazing !!! it is huge, clean, hot water in the shower, 2 balconies . Food; the food was ok. I am vegetarian - not a lot for me to eat. (the chef did try) breakfast was very simple. negative: after we payed what we agreed (according to the email they sent prior to our arrival), they asked us to pay for extra 2 beds in the room , for each bed per night (we stayed 7 nights). We booked a Family Suit, meaning there are 4 beds at the room, so why to pay twice ?!

Reviewed By X2816MUmikebI seldom leave a review but Hotel Lavasoa was such a special place to stay. The views are as amazing as they get and everything about the place is comfortable. The location is perfect. Perhaps more importantly, the staff made everything unforgettable. They truly go out of their way to not only make your stay unforgettable, but they also make you feel so welcome. They are really genuine and can help you with anything you need. Ft. Dauphin is so amazing, and I know exactly where I will be staying the next time I come! Thank you for everything, Marco.

Basic, but still one of the better ones in FDF
Reviewed By Sailyatch01Stayed a week. Very large room, and could see ocean and sun rise from terrace outside room. Food in restaurant was amongst the best we experienced around FDF, although the setting and lighting is a little stark. The hotel is old style architecture, no frills, but warm and friendly staff. The ocean side of the hotel is above a couple of local farms and houses - the dogs bark at night and the cocks crow in the morning - I was totally fine with this but a colleague found it disturbing. Rooms on the rear side of the hotel are quiet.

Un décor de cinéma bercé jour et nuit par les vagues qui s'échouent sur le sable au pied de la maison. Un délicieux et copieux petit déjeuner maison. La gentillesse, la sympathie, la disponibilité, le service de Yves l'heureux propriétaire qui en plus vous proposera des sorties inoubliables. Le centre de Fort Dauphin à quelques minutes à pied. Sans aucun doute le meilleur choix et le meilleur rapport qualité-prix de Fort Dauphin-Tolanaro.
