The location of the hotel is good, Skien is not a "tourist" spot in my opinion but the hotel is nicely situated by the harbour, with restaurants close by. There is some noise from the restaurants if you have the "seaside" view so if you require a silent room ask for one in the rear of the hotel. Breakfast and evening meals were superb and worth the visit.

The hotel is located in the middel of a park with peaceful environment where everyone can enjoy the scenery and fresh air just outside the room. For all who may dwell in a fantastic area of activity we can offer different types of rooms. We have 65 rooms in different sizes: single rooms, double rooms, family rooms and apartments. Breakfast is served daily from 06.00 - 10.00 and supper is served from 18.00 - 20.00. Free internet. For businesses, we have long-term lease. For all who want to use the facility for tournaments or training camps, we offer custom options - tailor each group. Skien fritidspark has a wide range of activities to offer as an extra feature of your stay. So why not bring the whole family next time when you are going to Skien fritidspark?
Friendly staff and good food
Reviewed By DeihcsWe stayed one night in an apartment where there are four bunk beds and a bathroom in a separate room from the TV room / kitchenette area. The apartment has a dormitory-feel to it, but it was very convenient to overnight there with its proximity to the water park and the multitude of other activities. Entrance to the water park was included in the price of the hotel, as was breakfast and dinner, which made it a good value. Both meals were tasty and suitable for adults and children. The reception staff was very friendly. The bathroom in the apartment was fine, but the shower had a curtain, which in general is a less hygienic solution than glass doors. The only downsides we experienced were that the beds unfortunately squeaked with the slightest movement and the sleeper-couch in the living room in front of the TV only had space for three people to sit on, even though it was an apartment for four persons. There is a table and sitting group outside the front door. I can recommend this hotel for families with children.

Reviewed By 290lisswFrokosten var helt grei. Personalet var hyggelig, men hadde dårlig lokalkunnskap. Vi kjente fjærene i sengen gjennom madrassen, og sov svært dårlig både pga dårlig seng og trafikkstøy fra gata rett utenfor. Trakk vi en gang ned i toalettet måtte vi vente en god stund før sisternen fylte seg opp igjen. Vannet rant over hele gulvet da vi dusjet. Kaffeflekker i taket og støv på rommet gjorde ikke inntrykket bedre. Vi var der en hel helg, og angret på valg av hotell.
