We are located just down the road from Susquehanna University, Bucknell University, and the Monroe Marketplace. We welcome students, their families, and the facility of both Universities. For those sports fans, we are located near both the Selinsgrove Speedway and the Beaver Springs Dragway, as well as the nearby ASA Softball Complex. If you are looking for some adventures with your families, make sure you visit Knoebels Amusement Resort which is located less than 25 miles away from our hotel. Or maybe your adventures are in Animals, which then you should go visit Lake Tobias Wildlife Park, and ride through the Safari or visit Clyde Peeling Reptiland, and visit the petting zoo.

Reviewed By rustypuppy25The hotel has been there approximately only 9 years. The hotel is spot clean. The best hotel I ever stayed at. Breakfasts are free with your room reservations. My wife loved the soft king pillows. We had a King bed with 2 soft king pillows provided. My wife didn’t wake up in the morning with a wrenched neck like she usually does when sleeping at other hotels. We normally stay at one of the Hilton resort hotels because we are Diamond members. The sleeping arrangements seem to be quieter. Holliday Inn Exoress has exceeded my expectations. They were incredible.

Better than a chain hotel
Reviewed By Billtown BFrom the moment we walked in we were treated great. The Inn is gorgeous. We specifically chose the Inn for the Jacuzzi and it did not disappoint. The King bed was comfortable and having a small kitchen table set was convenient. I hate to see this Inn sold for something other than a hotel. I'll never get to enjoy it again.

Dated and a bit worn but clean with friendly service
Reviewed By jackiepaddySusquehanna University homecoming weekend - booked for 2 nights - reasonable rate when other area properties were much more expensive - booked 2 queen beds and was given a first floor room, ADA accessible, near the back entrance. Friendly service at the front desk. First floor smelled of cannabis. Room is large. Bathroom was set up as ADA - and was worn. Toilet was old - scratched up. Room was clean. Dated property but more affordable than others around. Free parking. Convenient location.

New hotel, still working out the kinks?
Reviewed By RobertS1182We were in the area recently for a quick trip and stayed at this hotel for one night. The property was clearly new and, as such, appeared to be maintained well. The room was comfortable and clean. Our interactions with the clerks at the front desk were...odd. Not sure that they have been properly trained to recognize status as our was not. We had breakfast in the dining room the next morning and found that it was mostly a return to pre-pandemic breakfasts. Scrambled eggs were offered in one chafing dish while the other contained paper-thin (though flavorful) bacon and the driest turkey sausage one has ever seen. Also on offer was the ever-ubiquitous waffle maker, cereals, breads, fruits, Pop Tarts and mini-muffins. Oddly, we found that there was no butter or cream cheese to go with the bagels/breads (only jelly and peanut butter). Additionally, there was no yogurt in the mini fridge (only bottled water) and no oatmeal packets. Further, the juice dispenser was only partially operational so only orange juice was available. For the latter part of breakfast service, we found that once things we out of stock they were not replenished. We were disappointed that grab and go things like Pop Tarts were no longer available once they were out. Wouldn't it make sense to have the grab and go items available toward the tail end of breakfast so late arrivals can, you know, grab and go? We will likely be in the area again at some point and would likely stay here again. We hope that the rough edges will be smoothed over by then. Oh, and Marriott...this property is not worth 20,000 points a night.

We may be a smaller Motel but this enables us to provide service that is more guest oriented than the bigger motels. We are located in the beautiful central Pennsylvania, the heart of the Susquehanna valley. Located on the "Golden Strip",on route 11 & 15, surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets, major department stores, Susquehanna mall to mention only a few. Valley Lodge is the ideal spot for travelers who need a quiet rest,vacationers,or for your next business conference. Whether you are looking for a weekend for two in a Jacuzzi, or a family getaway to enjoy the amusement park we are here to welcome you. Stop by and enjoy a picnic basket lunch on our grounds, enjoy the many historic sites, go fishing or just enjoy the beautiful views. We are always here to welcome you come enjoy what we have to offer like no others!!
WORSE place to stay!
Reviewed By pab0912This motel is the most DISGUSTING place I have ever stayed! DIRTY! Kitchen disgusting! Toilet wouldn't flush! Dirty rooms. Stains on my sheets. It was just place GROSS! Jamil, the owner / manager is a very ignorant man!
