Our hotel consist of 232 apartments, all spacious and well decorated, with separate bedroom, balconies overlooking the sea or the gardens. Excellent locations right on the seafront and on the south-west coast of Gran Canaria which offers the best climate; less wind and more sun.
Great hotel for a stop over.
Reviewed By BJohn1952The check in was seamless and very efficiently handled. The room was clean and spacious, just what we needed. Breakfast was full of choice and the view across the ocean from the restaurant was incredible. Just a shame we only stayed for one night!

Calypso Family Apartments are situated on the border of the traditional fishing village of Arguineguin and nearby Patalavaca. The two-bedroom apartments sleep up to five guests, making the apartments excellent value for families or small groups of friends looking for a break or longer holiday in southern Gran Canaria. Arguineguin is perfectly located between lively Puerto Rico and the more southern results of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles. The apartments all have access to our own heated swimming pool and all contain balcony or terrace, full kitchen bathroom with shower and all the facilities you will need to enjoy a relaxing holiday with your family.

Reviewed By chrishP278LNThis I another favourite of mine Calypso Family at Arquiniqan, the view across the sea and light airy apartments. All the amenities you need for a stay with family, washing machine microwave and freezer with cooker. I loved opening all the windows and getting hat lovely breeze through the apartment. The swimming pool was great to use very refreshing a lovely temperature and sitting by the pool with parasols here was very relaxing and particularly quiet. The sea is a short cab ride or a walk whichever suits. Towels and bedding were a plus and the sofa bed an extra depending on how many you have staying. This was a lovely retreat from the crowds in town, all within easy reach the shops not far. It’s was really nice to enjoy all that Arguiniqan and Gran Canaria has to offer and yet retreat to the privacy of my apartment to relax and sleep well and feel rested. I fully recommend this complex and will be staying again Thank you Calypso Apaertments.

Lovely stay!
Reviewed By PriyaG84The appartments are very clean, the beds and showers are good. The complex is equipped with a gym and nice swimming pool (for older kids and adults). A very friendly family runs this place and they will do anything for their guests in order for them to feel comfortable. We were able to enjoy delicious cocktails every evening (Yvonne's Daiquiri is highly recommended :-)) and also enjoyed Italian pizzas, a burger without the bun was no problem and still nicely decorated on the plate. A car is recommended for trips, free parking is available. For us this is worth repeating! See you soon Mariposa del Sol!

Reviewed By FrancesMgrGorgeous plunge pool with sun loungers and patio furniture. Apartments have all basic equipment you need. Lovely young couple live on site and are very helpful. Towels, sheets are plentiful and cleaning is to a very high standard. Beautiful views of the sea from balconys. Very quiet during my visit in june. 5 minutes walk down the hill to supermarkets, (Spar delivers free if you spend 30 euros). Bars, restaurants, bus stop and taxi rank there too. Beaches only another few minutes walk. Wi-Fi excellant. Overhead fan in the bedroom. Big fridge to keep the cans of San Miguel 40 cents and bottles of Cava 3 euros cold. Freezer for the ice. 30 mins from airport, £10 with hoops shuttle transfers. Taxi to Can't wait to go back again!!!
