Villa with 4 rooms all comfort. Bathroom private, private swimming pool, relaxing living room with library, DVD, space fitness. Located very near the Sierra Nevada and at 10 min. from Granada. Necessary stop for those which visit Andalucia.

Reviewed By betty072What a wonderful find. I stayed here with my husband for 4 nights as part of our 3 week touring motorcycle holiday around Andalucia and we were very impressed by Villa Madnis. Our hosts were lovely, friendly, welcoming and cared very much for us, clearly they love what they do and it shows. The villa has a lovely covered pool perfect for hot sunny days, with sun loungers and a small garden. There is a large terrace where breakfast is served on sunny mornings, which are a delight including of course true orange juice, homemade pastries, preserves, coffee or tea each breakfast different, Evelyn and Philippe are keen to please. Evening meal is delicious homemade and perfect. There is a large lounge with big comfy sofas, tv, mini bar (reasonably priced) and excercise machine if you wish to use, and for the winter a big fire. Our room was spotlessly clean with a comfy bed and lovely bedding, a large bathroom and spacious shower, all cleaned daily and towels fresh and clean. We had use of a garage for our motorcycle which was brilliant. The local village Padul is close by (too far to walk) provides everything you need if you don't want to go far in the evening, some good restaurants and cafes, our tapas where sometimes only a Euro when ordered with a drink. Evelyne and Philippe were happy to suggest places to visit and show us on our map good scenic routes for our motorcycle (all roads were very good) the Alpujarras is stunning. The Alhambra is amazing and a must see, best to buy tickets in advance. I can not recommend this B&B highly enough it's a truly lovely place to stay. Thank you Evelyne and Philippe we hope one day to return.

Reviewed By sandycherryHorrible experiencia. Tuvimos la desagradable oportunidad de cruzarnos a Maria en nuestra búsqueda de casas para pasar una noche vieja agradable en compañía de nuestros amigos. Ella nos dijo que tenía la casa reservada a un grupo pero que había tenido problemas con ellos y que al final se había cancelado la reserva (ahora todo nos cuadra, ¿cómo no vas a tener problemas si engañas a la gente, no tienes palabra y además tienes ese trato tan pésimo con las personas?) total, nosotros pobres ingenuos, muy felices de tal cancelación que nos había dejado libre la casa... Esta mujer nos dice que los niños nos los tiene que cobrar porque producen gasto igual que los adultos, le digo que de acuerdo y me cierra un precio de 820€por la casa 35€/adulto y noche y 20€/niño y noche. Lo dejamos hablado y a la mañana siguiente me dice que otra familia había llamado interesándose y que me tenía que escribir el precio por WhatsApp. Me deja un mensaje diciéndome que me tiene que redondear el precio de la casa en 1.000 euros por las dos noches, en vez de 820€ como me había asegurado el día anterior... Como verán ustedes un redondeo bastante a la alza. Aunque en todo momento fuimos sumamente educados, intentando que entrara en razón y respetara la palabra que nos había dado, fue muy desagradable, brusca, amenazante y nos colgó el teléfono. Osea, una joya de persona a la que le deseamos que aunque quiera ganar todo el oro del mundo engañando, mintiendo y con esa prepotencia, el tiempo la ponga en su lugar a usted y a su "chalet de lujo"como usted misma lo llama.

VERY BAD SERVICE
Reviewed By Ouii OThe service is ZERO!! The manager Frederico or Srederico is mean and has not respect for the guests. He does not listen to the guest and hang up in your ear if you call him and explain your problem! I wanted to speak with his manager because of his behaviour. But he hanged up on me. I am very pissed of because of his lack of understanding. If you explain something to him, he will interrupt you with talking and defend him self like a child. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!! Every question to The receptionists can not be answered, because they will send you to the supervisor ( manager). I am shocked about the service and let this be a lesson for you all!?
