Reviewed By BurnsandFranceWe have just stayed here for a week and it was fabulous. We stayed in room 124 with a nice sea view. Well equipped room which was cleaned daily. Ana on reception was a mine of information and nothing was too much trouble. We had an early start to cone home and they even sorted out food and fruit to take with us. The bar and restaurant staff were polite and efficent. We went B and B and could not fsult the food. Vast choice and all fresh and tasty. We did eat twice on an evening and again the choice and qualty was very good. Very clean pool and pool area. Supermarket nearby which was well stocked and not expensive. Good bus service which was very cheap. It is a hilly area but some good dining spots nearby. That good we will be going back.

Carema Garden Village apartments are on the sea front with a direct access to Cala Tirant, set in the GR223 Camí de Cavalls starting point: the ideal place to stay for nature and active tourism lovers. All apartments had been renovated in 2017. They offer fully equipped studio and apartments with bathroom, TV, free Wifi connection, safe (additional charge), kitchenette and terrace or balcony. The cleaning crew comes to the apartment once a week. The resort counts on 2 swimming pools and free public parking. Pets are allowed.
Very dark and damp room
Reviewed By sinclairasFirstly the good, it’s a pleasant and attractive complex and there is a supermarket only minutes away if you are self catering as I was. The bad: as a single traveller booked into a studio room I was treated with contempt. My room (127) was on the ground floor of the complex. It was incredibly dark and also damp and smelled ofmould. It got no natural light or sunlight whatsoever which meant I could not even sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the sun. It was extremely depressing. When I asked to be moved (twice) I was told I’d have to pay extra despite the fact that at the time many rooms were empty and the complex was quiet. There were some pleasant friendly staff on reception but the person I spoke to who ultimately had the power to make my holiday change from an unpleasant to pleasant experience ( presumably the manager) was unfriendly, unaccomodating and obstructive in her attitude and basically came up with a long list of reasons why she couldn’t help me unless I was willing to pay more. She basically put the customer experience secondary to hotel profits and in doing so she ensured I had a bad experience. I was treated in a contemptuous fashion and told I had a cheap room ( I just booked in the normal way) and then she tried to blame it on my holiday company. All in all, as the weather was poor and I was stuck in a dark damp room it was a very unpleasant experience but one which could easily have been turned around by the manager who chose not to. Additional comments : I like peace and quiet but there was very little to do here. You need a car, especially if the weather is bad.

Reviewed By LightPacker78535Great value, self contained accommodation within 3-5 mins of lovely quiet beach. Apartment was clean and My balcony had a lovely view over the bay. Kitchen includes hob, sink, fridge, kettle and toaster. All the utensils and pots/pans seems new or sparklingly clean. Didn’t use the bar or pool area but looked clean also. Really great value. Thank you

Lovely, welcoming,simple hotel
Reviewed By dj_vhughesThis is a great budget hotel in Ses Salines, about a mile up the road from Port Fornells. Rooms were simple but clean and the staff were very welcoming. There is a pool across small street at the back and plenty of parking. The breakfast was good and they also did simple lunches at a good price. We had a room with a sea view, which was very quiet. We loved the quietness of Ses Salines. There were two good restaurants within walking distance. This is a good value welcoming hotel in a great location.

Reviewed By Andrew DWe stayed in the Villa which was perfect, couldn’t fault anything to be honest. Maybe the only thing is there could have been a couple more parasols around the pool as we had young children but we managed with the 1 that was there. We stayed with 6 adults and 3 children and it was plenty big enough, would defiantly return.
