Reviewed By TravellingisagiftWe stayed for one night in Forde. They gave us a room facing the river. Room was nice. Breakfast choice was a lot. Everything nice in this hotel. The only thing missing is that we did not get our free mineral water as a member of Thon Hotel. But it does not matter, you can drink cold water from the faucet. Bed was nice to sleep in. Nothing to complain. We had the opportunity to walk around the city after dinner.

Cosy pension located in the centre of Forde town. 17 newly renovated rooms. Reasonable prices with breakfast included. Fully equipped mini-kitchen.

Reviewed By Eirinn1975It's a small hotel not far from the city centre (around 800-1000 meters) with a nice lady managing it. Rooms are simple but comfortable, and beating their price isn't easy! Good breakfast, you even get salmon! The only suggestion is that the hotel could be better indicated. If you are coming from the city centre, the trees on the side of the street are covering the hotel and you might notice the entrance to the parking place a bit too late. For the rest thumbs up!

Førde Guest House and Camping - the best starting point for a holiday in Sogn og Fjordane. Both sea and glaciers can be reached in one day! We offer a wealth of different accommodation options: 4/6 persons cottages, 3-room apartments, rooms witch kitchenette and rooms in our Guesthouse for one or for 2 persons. Backpackers and mobile homers will find suitable caravan/tent/motorhome sites with access to an all- inclusive sanitary building. Our location is just right, both for those of you who are looking for peace and quiet, or a vacation packed with activities. We have grounds with mini golf and opportunities for ball games like volleyball, soccer and badminton. The site also has a playground for the very young. In walking distance from the campsite there are several well planned hiking routes that only take a couple of hours to complete. We have maps in the reception and we are more than happy to tell you everything the campsite and city has to offer. Welcome!

Reviewed By ecrmnnStayed here for two days while visiting some friends. Amazing facilities, always clean and you can shower as long as you want. Hands down the best facilities I’ve come across at a Norwegian camping spot. Great value. The spot is fairly close to the city centre and shops/groceries. Would recommend this place.

Forde Hostel is located 2,3 km outside of the city center, with a great variety of hikes nearby, and only a 2 minute walk for a refreshing bath in the river. Surrounded by mountains and near the river this hostel is close to the nature. The hostel has several room types: family rooms, double and single rooms with or without private bathrooms and dorms. All rooms have access to a kitchenette and a living room with TV, free parking is provided for everyone and a food store is within walking distance to the hostel. Washing machines are available for our guests, and we provide barbeques and movie nights by request. You can also rent a bicycle at the hostel. We serve freshly made breakfast every day and provide board games in the common areas, and you can ask the reception for advice about day trips and activities.
Nice place a bit out of town with great service but somewhat poor breakfast
Reviewed By Elena CWe loved the cleanliness of our room snd the small en-suite shower with WC. And the complimentary chocolate!! The linen was clean and the furniture nice and well kept. The receptionists were absolutely wonderful, nice, smiling, ready to help and show us around. There are many services and the common rooms have pots and pans, which I would not take for granted. The location is a bit far away from the town centre, you need a car (a d pay an entrance fee when getting into town), which is one of the drawbacks of this place. Also, compared to other summer hotels in schools, breakfast is rather poor here.
