Dating back to the 19th century, this traditional house is on three levels golden granite stone cut with an inimitable charm in a village where natural stone houses and ubiquitous vegetation create an atmosphere of calm and rest.

Reviewed By M1147TAmatthewmI made a reservation at L’Orca di San Gavin’s on October 12, 2019, and have paid for my booking with Visa. My reservation was confirmed. I arrived at the hotel on December 29, 2019 around 17:00, but the hotel was closed! I called the owner and he informed me that the hotel was closed, and I will be receiving a refund. I am finding this way of doing business as unacceptable. As my payment was accepted on October 12, 2019, I informed the hotel, about my arrival time on December 29th between 16:00 and 17:00. There was plenty of time for the owner to let me know that he had changed his mind about keeping the hotel open between Christmas and New Year, so I could find another accommodation. I was put in an impossible situation of finding another accommodation that night. I do not appreciate this way of doing business, and consider the owner’s lack of any explanations as a very bad business practice. On December 30, 2019, I sent a message to the owner of the hotel, expressing my dissatisfaction, but received no reply…

A nice stay in Figari
Reviewed By Sam_7BaselThe location is very good with short access by car to many nice beaches in the South as well as to Porto Vecchio as well as to Bonifacio. The cottage is spacious and clean with a nice garden, private parkplace and just beside the pool. Camille was very nice, friendly and highly responsive by whatsapp for any requests. In the common kitchen, you have your private shelf and also inside the fridge where you can easily prepare your meals. The accomodation is within grape farms so very quiet and peaceful. It is good value of money.

Double charged for a horrible room
Reviewed By WetraveltheglobeWe booked Pozzo through hotels.com about 7:00 pm for the same night. We had car issues and had to be closer to the airport for an early morning flight. We arrived about 10:00 pm, no one was in reception but we finally found someone in the restaurant. We were shown to a truly horrible room--to get to the toilet you had to turn sideways and wiggle past a glass sink, cats kept running into the room if the door was open for any reason (my husband is highly allergic) and many other issues. When we left the next morning we had to sign yet another receipt for full payment for the room. Our credit card has been billed from hotels.com AND Pozzo Mastri. When we have attempted to contact them they have ignored our emails twice. This is NOT a $200 room. BEWARE!
