Our family was indulge in the comfort of nature's bliss as we embrace the glazing clear water of the beach, the prestine pool, and the comfortable room. This spectacular scenery brought by Tugawe Resort is good to refresh your soul and free your mind from the chaos of the city. Moreover, the taste of their food would definately stay in your mind forever- name it, they have it. From meats to seafoods, from drinks to desserts. All of it were pleasure to the mouth.

Great staff, good food
Reviewed By nomadofthecenturyWe stayed at La Casa Roa for 2 nights last March 2022 and the experience was very good. The staff there were amazing, and the food was superb. With very few dining options in Caramoan, La Casa Roa is your best bet for freshly cooked dishes. We also ordered food that we took with us during our island hopping, and they placed the food in a cute wicker basket. The interiors looked a bit dated and could use a refresh. Location-wise, it is right smack in the town center and is a 20-minute tricycle ride away from the port. The best asset of La Casa Roa are the staff -- they are all courteous, professional and warm and will make you feel like VIPs.

Islandview Lodge is a seaside lodging located along Paniman beach - the perfect jump-off point for an exciting island hopping adventure. It offers beachfront accommodations with rooms for lone traveler, for couples, families and for bigger group at a very affordable rates but with a quality and very personal service. In front is a restaurant and bar which serves delectable and mouth watering dishes. You can enjoy each meal while having the wonderful sight of the ocean and scenic view of Caramoan islands.
Cockroaches, Mosquitoes, Spiders and friendly owners
Reviewed By tobiantOwner and staff was nice and all but the room we got was dirty. Had to kill giant cockroaches in the bathroom at night that sneaked in to the giant hole in the wall. Prices for islandhopping are way too high, probably in all the hotels (3000 and up). Try to find a local on the beach, we payed 2000 for the big tour, including snorkling equip.

A good choice for travellers on a budget
Reviewed By Alms_505Location - very good. It's just located near the beach. The beach sand is not white like the nearby Gota Village Resort but the water is good enough for swimming. It's near Matukad and Lahos Islands (around 2.5km away- you can hire a boat or if you're a swimmer just swim it?) where you can find white beaches and some coral reefs. For those planning to go Gota beach, it's just 800 m away but you have to ride a boat or a car/trike/habal-habal, the river is deep for walking across. Facilities- good. Nothing fancy or cozy. Clean beddings and rooms. They dont provide towels and toiletries so bring your own.They also have tv with cable and wifi. Water is free and available thru the water dispenser in the common dining hut. There are hammocks which I loved the most where you can relax and read a book or take a nap or just watch/listen to the sound of the waves. The tap water is sort of salty as it's supplied from the well. Staff- very good. The caretakers are very accommodating. Ate Neng and Kuya Romulo stayed around for any needs. Small things like not charging me for the instant cup of coffees I've requested is much appreciated. Food- For solo travellers like me, they dont cook or provide food but that's ok as there are affordable restaurants a few meters away like Isla de Magayon. There's even a bar at night (Tipsy Monkey Bar) where you can have some drinks. For group travellers, they can order food in advance and ask ate Neng to cook for them. You can also bring your own food. Rice cooker and electric kettles are are not allowed though. Cost- very good. the price is very reasonable and perfect for those on a tight budget. - [ ]
