Days Inn is within walking distance to Oceanside Harbor and Beach. The hotel is right next to the main gate of Camp Pendleton. Legoland is 10 minutes away. San Diego Zoo, the Wild Amimal Park and Sea World is 30 minutes south of the Days Inn. Disneyland is an hour drive from the hotel.
No Hot Water
Reviewed By Steve SThe hotel was in average location but Central to the Oceanside area. When we got inside the room, there was no hot water. We had already unpacked, and getting ready to go out to dinner. The maintenance people were not on site and could not be contacted, and so after dinner we had to repack our goods and move to different rooms.

Desperate Need of a Renovation
Reviewed By Inspiration567979I’ll start with the pros: the staff that we did encounter were very nice and the location is by a bunch of shopping and dining. Now let’s get the the cons, this place is in desperate need of a renovation. There was damage all over our room and what they did fix was poorly done. You can tell they’re doing the bare minimum of what they need to keep the place open. Rooms and decor are probably 20 years out of date at this point. The few upgrades they have done are haphazard and not done well. As others mentioned, parking is somewhat limited at night but we were lucky to find a spot. I definitely won’t stay here again.

Our Worst Nightmare
Reviewed By dannastysIf I could rate this place as zero, or better yet, a negative number, I would do so. If you read anything in the reviews that sounds the least bit pleasant, it is a lie. This is the most horrible place we’ve ever been. There are really no words to describe it. I will take one picture of the shower, and that should suffice.
