Reviewed By gurelanaVer good, efficient and smilling service. A lot of pelgrim seams to stop there for lunch on the way to the camino, only 2.5km to St Jean Pied de Port. The terrace garden is quit large with a children playground area. Our lunch was very good, we had Dorade and a entrecote, very generous size portions. The creme brulee was excellent. The hotel rooms look confortable. A must ifyou are visiting the Pays Basque and its right on the GR65.

Un havre de paix au cœur des montagnes

Située à quelques pas de Saint-jean le vieux, et à quelques encablures de Saint-Jean- Pied de port, sur le chemin de Saint-jacques de Compostelle, la maison de Marie Jeanne Esponde est nichée au coeur des montagnes, dans un vaste jardin au bout duquel coule une rivière ! Marie- Jeanne et Albert mettront tout en oeuvre pour vous accueillir et répondre à vos moindres besoins ! Ils sont jovials, très attentionnés et n'auront de cesse de vous satisfaire ! Les chambres sont petites, certes, mais comme c'est pour dormir, cela n'a aucune importance ! Il vous faudra partager la salle de bain, et en ayant fait l'expérience, nous pouvons vous assurer que cela ne pose aucun problème. Les propriétaires sont très " à cheval sur la propreté", et de notre côté tout s'est très bien passé sur ce point ! Chaque matin, la table du petit déjeuner est garnie d'un copieux petit déjeuner ! Albert vous rapporte chaque jour du pain frais et des viennoiseries ! les prix modérés sont en parfait accord avec les réserves qui pourraient être faites concernant les points ci-dessus. Alors, si vous avez envie d'une petite escapade au cœur des montagnes, au calme, aucune hésitation ! précipitez vous chez Marie Jeanne, elle vous accueillera à bras ouverts, avec, en prime, son accent chantant !

Reviewed By 蓝格子Stayed for one month last September, excellent condominiums , great local food, duck breasts and huge steaks on the BBQ. Ask the proprietor for his Oakland California “blue smoke” BBQ sauce for chicken, it is to die for! Caught fish, lots of time for my girl, and a great bunch of hospitable people for Rose’ happy hours! Great time, see you this coming September and keep the Rose’ chilled. 去年夏天在此住了一个月，青山环绕、绿树连绵，牛儿在门前吃草，鸟儿在枝头鸣叫，蓝天白云，湖水荡漾，热浪袭来你可以跳入湖水游泳嬉戏，冷了可以享受静谧的垂钓之乐，夜幕低垂，炉火上烤肉，灶台上各种美食美酒佳肴。一群好友围坐一台，醉人的黄昏伴着盘碟酒杯的碰撞声，友人的欢笑声，一切都是那么美好，那么陶醉。好地方值得再次造访。
