Our favourite camping
Reviewed By OoedThis was our favourite camping in this holiday. The owners were super friendly, the toilets and showers were extremely clean and it was very spacious. All around, there was only nature, no noise at all and the ground was optimal for putting up a tent. There is even a little library and a petanque ground! Absolutely loved it, would not go anywhere else ever again if i was in the area.

Peace and quiet near the sea
Reviewed By JimmR1968Covid aware nice small site with massive pitches. Very very friendly and really good value. Highly recommended. Can cycle easily to the coast, small supermarket and bread nearby (walkable, just) and easy to visit Noirmoutier island. NO MICE seen as in another review it seemed to be a problem. Saw an otter though.

Unwelcoming and uncomfortable stay
Reviewed By JillianNaillijWe rented two mobile homes for our family of 7 for 9 nights at the beginning of July. Firstly the positives, the 2 mobiles were joined by a lovely deck and canopy and the English speaking receptionist (when there) Solenne was very nice. The grounds were well kept and the little lake very pretty, the pool area was also very clean. But that's all the nice things I can say. The mobile homes were very small with no storage and lacked grills or ovens so we only had the hob and communal bbqs that were not beside the mobiles, to cook on. As previous reviewers have said the pool was closed for few hours during day for some mysterious reason eventhough it was unsupervised. French children were playing with inflatable dolphins in pool so I bought one for my kids. The owner shouted at us in French that it was forbidden to take them in pool and made the children cry! There are toilets/showers beside the pool and when we used these for changing/ showering after swimming the owner pointed to signs that said they were not for the use of people with mobile homes! So if my kids needed the toilet while in pool we would all have to go back to the mobile home! Rules, rules, rules! As someone else said it was like a military camp! There was no sign of the entertainment they advertised, the bar/snack bar was rarely open and when we asked for chips one day they wanted to know did we want them TODAY!!! Apparently we should have ordered the day before! The owners did not seem to be interested in us as we spoke English, we were like an inconvenience to them and it made for a very uncomfortable stay. Oh 4 ice creams cost €9 and tasted stale. There was no fresh bread or milk available in the shop (unless you ordered bread the day before). Check out was painful, despite cleaning both mobiles and leaving all cutlery and crockery laid out on table we were scolded as items were not in the EXACT same place on table as when we arrived! We also had to spend half an hour explaining that we could not leave without something saying our €700 (! ) deposit was being returned to credit card. Owner pretended not to understand and then wanted us to take her word that money was not being deducted but we wanted it in writing like out previous siblu camp do automatically. Basically I'd never recommended this site to anyone unless it gets new owners. Disappointing after saving for 3 years for a family holiday.

Reviewed By 1965vincennesTrès bon accueil, et les hôtes sont à votre écoute. Bien placé et dans un cadre calme, gîte propre, literie confortable. Et propose un panier petit déjeuner très copieux Facile d'accès. La mer est proche. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour
