Super comfortable accommodations
Reviewed By evelynt332The hotel room was very comfortable. Staff was very polite. The hotel was close to the Zoo De Mack venue at a fraction of the cost. The door was just outside the room so we could park a few yards from the room. They did offer to store our bikes for us as well. We’ll definitely book here for next year too.

Good location, but....
Reviewed By zburgerOur room was upgraded at check-in, but we were shocked by the limited breakfast offered the next morning. What was once BIG plus is now a serious minus for the Colonial Inn. The limited amount of hot food was cold, and what should be cold (yogurt) was warm. Exact same food the following day too, including the same berry "compote" in the same bowl. Breakfast used to be a highlight here.

Reviewed By mkel15Great place to stay if you like relaxed old fashioned accommodations. Very comfortable inn in the woods. Giant room with fireplace and lots of sofas and chairs. Good wifi and access to Harbor Springs. Affordable.

Amazing home and Great Hospitality
Reviewed By forhimtooStayed here April 2021 and I was so impressed I can't wait to go back. The hosts Chris & Jessica went beyond my expectations. The added and unexpected wine tasting was fun. The special breakfast made specifically for my taste was amazing. And Jessica taking the time to visit made the morning even more special for me. The quiet library reading in the evening added to my stay. as well as seeing but not having enough time to utilize the clean and big Hot Tub or Sauna. My room was gorgeous and bed so very comfortable. This place is highly recommended and beautiful inside.
