One month in Haguisan Inn
Reviewed By albert rI had my father and son stay here for a month and am very pleased with my decision. Haguisan Inn is centrally located in the heart of Tandag. Everything becomes walking distance when you stay here. i.e. the town hall, the cathedral, the plaza, markets, grocery stores, schools, internet cafes, restaurants, laundry shop, banks, to name a few. The family who owns the place are a friendly bunch. They like interacting with their guests. They willingly share stories about the Tandag, and the province of Surigao. Need to brush up with your current events? Go ahead, ask the most senior in the family and be prepared to be bombarded with views (personal or objective, depending on the topic). The service is good and the service staff understands english but tend to respond in tandaganon, the local dialect or in tagalong. Not to worry, the lady (a family member) who sits at the front desk can converse in english. The rooms are reasonably priced at Php600 for an air conditioned room and Php300 for a room with electric fan. We got the aircon room. It has cable TV, toilet and bath, free internet. Room space is good and is outfitted with one queen sized bed; though it can accommodate an extra bed for Php100, we chose to snuggle ourselves quite comfortably in one bed. Breakfast is not included, but the place serves meals for a minimal fee. You have the option to enjoy your meal inside your room or at the common dining area overlooking the street. Perfect for observing how the people of Tandag typically live their day. Overall, Haguisan Inn does not have “mints on your pillow”, but it has best value for quality accommodations that meets the basic necessities of the average traveler.

Reviewed By baxterd709This multi use Hotel banquet rooms ,weddings ect. Restaurant at water front rooms are very nice too. Service is excellent Nice view on the water side of the road too Went to a wedding there and all the accommodations and services were top shelf
