Not a place for young families
Reviewed By 43kerenmWe stayed here for a week in Aug 2020. While generally everyone was friendly and helpful during the day there was live music a couple times a week. Not something that we are against, we knew it would go on until 11pm - unfortunately one night it was still in full flow at 12.30 in the morning! Our pitch was probably the closest to the bar and restaurant, with 3 young kids it was impossible to sleep. The bass was ripping through our tent.

Gorgeous setting
Reviewed By Alan SGite is set some way up hill outside Tuchan, so if you're walking you may need to allow an extra 2km uphill at the end of the day (we managed to get a lift with the host's daughter). As a result though, the property has spectacular views across the valley. Clean and comfortable accommodation, and good quality food.

Reviewed By valana2018Stayed for a week in a chalet. Comfortable, peaceful and quiet ! Really lovely place. Wonderful atmosphere on June 21st for "fête de la musique". Great meal (barbecue?)and concert organised by campsite. Fab restaurant terrasse with olive tree, view over château d'Aguilar. Thanks for a lovely stay. V.

Quirky accommodation with a swimming pool.
Reviewed By mlx11A friend and I had two single rooms for one night on a walking holiday. The rooms were palatial and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. The outdoor pool was a great treat after a long, hot day's walking. This is an old, village-centre property. As the name suggests, it used to be the police station. The decor and furnishings are traditional. Although there is an entrance from the street, access to most rooms seems to be from the rear garden. Those coming by car need to find their way round the back where there is an electronic security gate with parking inside. This is a good spot to stay for the night but an evening meal was not available the night we were there and there don't seem to be any eating-places in the village itself. We were directed down the road to the local campsite where we had a decent meal.
