Great place to stay
Reviewed By Mr WVery friendly staff, free pickup and drop off, good breakfast with great views, fresh coffee made for a small additional fee. Room was comfortable enough for the price. Was a good stop over when I crossed from Laos to Myanmar.

Reviewed By JennyvanburikStayed in this hotel for three nights, They were supposed to pick up from the airport but no one was there, finally with the help of aviation police we got to the hotel. When we asked about what went wrong with our airport pick up, they could not give an answer as the two clerks at the reception spoke hardly any English but they were friendly and polite welcomed us with a smile. Rooms are clean but small, it is a newer hotel. NO ELEVATOR but the staff helped to carry the luggage. Breakfast is very simple as there are no many choices. We could choose either a Thai dish or an American breakfast which cannot be recommended. The staff (chef and the girls who serve) at the restaurant were very polite but did not speak enough English even to understand the coffee was cold. Yet they were very polite and serve with a big smile. The disasterours experence was the screaming men & women who were in the adjoining rooms, their screaming, loud talking and showering , flushing toilets, running in the corridor started in the midnight and continued till 5.00 am. Again the same screaming and loud talk started at 6;00 am. Around 3;00 am we made a phone call to the main desk and explined the situation but that did not help at all. We had to work the following day, when we explained the situation the following morning the person at the desk said " sorry". Will not stay in this hotel again although it was clean and affordable. The lobby is modern, spacious, beautiful seating arrangements, staff is freindly but could not communicate in English, we had to use a local to talk to the driver as we did not trust the instructions from the main desk. SInce the local interpreter spoke to the driver directly, the driver was pucntual each time we had to use him for our transportation. The driver was clean, polite and extremely helpful,

Reviewed By Patrick LClose to the airport but a good 4 miles to where it is shown on the map ... I was expecting to be close to the Border checkpoint where the Markets and Cafes are but after walking for 40 minutes i grabbed one of the many taxis .... It is only a few thousand Kyat, so it was cheap enough to get around but i was disappointed as i do prefer to be close to the action and walk whenever possible ... The hotel has a Casino attached so you will be on one of the upper floors so the noise doesn't bother you but ask for the 6th floor because if you are on the 8th floor the wifi doesn't work .... Apart from the location though, it is a nice hotel to stay in ... good but small buffet breakfast and the staff are very nice and helpful ... They gave me a free ride to the Pagoda which was good and came back one hour later and picked me up ... all in all it was a nice place to stay ... the main street has a few Cafes and coffee shops with western style food .... Found the Circle cafe on the roundabout ( right in behind the multitude of scooter taxis ), and had a lovely coffee and a feed ...The only money changers are next to the banks and you will need both Kyat and Thai Baht ... I only gave 3 stars due to the hotel being a long way away from where it is supposed to be ...
