Wonderful stay (Pity it was so short!!)
Reviewed By FrancisfMurtaghWe stayed here for one night, during a 2-day trip to Puy du Fou. The owner was very helpful and spoke really good English! Apparently we were his first ever guests from Ireland. He was even kind enough to book us a table in a fabulous Italian Restaurant in nearby Saint-Laurent-sur-Sevre. Breakfast next morning was absolutely delicious with home-made breads, jams and yoghurts all on offer along with plenty of croissants, cereals and coffee! Nothing was spared! Before we left he took us to a very picturesque spot on the banks of the nearby lake, to take photos of our family. The four of us were delighted to stay here and we were all sorry that it was only for 1 night. I would recommend La Landriére to anybody travelling in this very beautiful part of France.

A lovely experience
Reviewed By johnsbintFor the OHs birthday I had booked a day at Le Puy du Fou but didn't want to stay there overnight. I booked La Villa Bleue because it looked interesting and was close to the park. The house has a lovely faded grandeur look to the outside but is very smart and comfortable inside. There is parking opposite the house which we used although one guest did park his classic sports car within the property. We had a double room (no 2) with en suite shower on the first floor. There is free wifi which worked well in the room. The room faced the road but there was virtually no traffic so this wasn't a problem. Very prettily decorated and there were toiletries, a bottle of water and a hairdryer. The bed was very comfortable but quite squeaky every time I turned over. The rain head shower was very good but was a little slow to drain - the volume was great. We booked for the evening meal. We met for an apéro at 19.30 and met the other 4 guests. Our hosts didn't speak English but one of the guests was English and the other 3 spoke some English. I speak a little French so it worked quite well although French was the order of the evening throughout. The food was excellent. Cooked by Monsieur and served by Madame who both ate with us. We had 3 delicious courses with wine and water followed by coffee (no decaff)or tea or tisane. Breakfast was a choice of breads/crispbreads (including gluten free bread) and croissants and jams/preserves. This was my first experience of a French chambre d'hote and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a little daunting at first not having very much French but the Corinthes were so very welcoming it wasn't a problem. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Reviewed By robin mVery French of times long past. A bit grubby, thematic time pulsed switches, but with a nice outside terrace and pleasant food. The owner is delightfully pleasant. Would we stay again ... Probably yes. Good breakfast.

Longère whose oldest part dates from before the revolution. In this farmhouse of the seventeenth century a room on the ground floor has been converted into breakfast room, and equipped to cook if necessary. upstairs attics have left room for two cozy rooms plus a suite adjoining the largest room ("les Coteaux") which can accommodate up to 5 travelers. the room "Ajoncs" can accommodate 2 travelers. which gives a total capacity of 7 passengers. access to the rooms and the breakfast room is independent of the private part of the owners. the house is nestled in lush greenery and has no immediate neighborhood. Relaxation and tranquility assured.

Reviewed By elisamB4912XXLieu très calme. A 15 mn du Puy du Fou. Très bien accueillis par la propriétaire La chambre est au premier étage comprenant un lavabo, douche et toilette. Au Rez de chaussée une petite cuisine Nous avons pu déjeuner à l’extérieur face à un grand jardin, où nous avons été servis par la propriétaire, Nous avons également pu goûter aux fromages de chèvres de sa fabrication, que dire un délice pour les amateurs et gourmands de fromages C’est un hébergement que je recommande

Reviewed By YvesR62Maintenant chez Seb et Claire qui viennent de reprendre l’hôtel.Chambre simple mais fonctionnelle avec une belle salle d'eau.Petit déjeuner au top et malgré qu'ils ne font pas restaurant au soir,nous ont quand même fait à manger et une très bonne cuisine simple comme à la maison.merci Claire.Et toujours là pour rendre service à la clientèle.Nous vous souhaitons de réussir de votre projet professionnel et nous reviendrons vous voir.
